The Commercial Card Risk Manager is responsible for oversight and administration of credit and operational risk strategy programs for the Commercial Credit Card business. Duties & Responsibilities: * Oversight and monitoring of existing Commercial Credit Card portfolio with goal to reduce/mitigate credit, fraud losses, and employee misuse while balancing the customer experience/impact.
* Identify Risks and develop proper controls to mitigate.
* Evaluate effectiveness of controls and escalate as appropriate.
* Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of enterprise and regulatory controls and the resulting risk and control self-assessments.
* Responsible for creation and approval of internal new product/service risk assessments for new product launches/enhancements.
* Deliver timely escalation of all issues requiring attention to senior management.
* Work with business segment management to ensure that the overall risk function is effectively supporting strategic goals.
* Collaborate with audit/business segment/corporate risk to address issues with plausible action plans and target dates.
* In partnership with Commercial Card Product team, work with key internal partners, external vendors, and customers to develop/launch proper risk controls across the product set.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to update documentation on a regularly scheduled basis; including credit policies, procedures, and process flows.
* Act as the central point for receipt and distribution of important risk information for the business segment and reciprocate the flow of information back to corporate risk management.
* Act as Business Segment RelationshipManager (BSRM) for vendor partnerships, ensuring we are meeting Third Pary Risk Management requirements.
* Ensure business segment adheres to corporate and business unit policies and procedures.
* Must be aware of and keep abreast of credit risk associated with assigned business segment.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management or Operational Risk, preferably in Payments and or Commercial Credit Card.
* In lieu of a Bachelor's degree 4 additional years of segment-specific or risk related experience may be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
* Underwriting (credit) and Card Fraud/Disputes experience

Compensation Range:

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Primary Responsibilities:
Services customers seeking loan and/or deposit relationships with the Bank, interviewing applicants to develop information concerning their businesses and requirements, evaluating credit information and making relationship recommendations.
Participates and assesses the effectiveness of formal call program(s) targeting new loan and deposit business.
Evaluate requests for dealer commercial services, commercial real estate, and commercial loan financing for auto, boat, and RV dealers. Also evaluates loan requests for dealer principals and partners. Analyze each applicant's financial condition, cash flow, and credit history in order to make appropriate loan decisions within lending guidelines. Approve loans up to maximum lending authority; prepares and presents loan requests to senior credit officers and credit committees when appropriate.
Keep abreast of the industry, follows market trends and developments etc. and develop/implement strategies that will increase the Bank's business in saturated, developing and emerging markets. Establish and maintain contacts in the professional services community (accountants, attorneys) and within industry organizations (NADA, etc).
Work with Sales Managers and Credit Managers to gather information and receive recommendations on potential customers. Works closely with Sales Managers and Credit Manager to structure and price credits in order to maximize the bank's return while minimizing risk.
Maximizes the Department's profitability through the maintenance of a high quality loan portfolio. Follows current loans to ensure conformity with terms; maintains current and complete credit file. Has credit authority within established limit. Responsible for assisting Sales Managers and Credit Manager with the renewal of credits. Monitor customer deposit accounts. Monitor Dealer commercial services audits and dealer commercial services statements to ensure compliance.
Understand product pricing and cost structure, as well as understand and manage product risk.
Provide guidance and technical knowledge to less experiences dealer commercial services relationshipmanagers.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Essential Functions

Engages in outside calling to small business clients in and around the community delivering the full depth and breadth of products and services Key offers; Develop centers of influence and networks in the community to identify prospective client referrals with a strong focus on Small Business both in branch and on site with small business owners.
Accountable for growing the business through retention, expansion, and acquisition tactics, and for leading Branch team to success in attaining activity, behavior, and outcome expectations as well as achieving individual expectations.
Leads and develops the in-person branch team, ensuring understanding of Key's products and services, Key's sales and service process and the competitive landscape, while instilling Key's vision and values with branch team
Facilitate strong partnerships within branch team and with line of business partners, focusing on client acquisition and deepening the relationship of current clients; effectively manage internal and external COIs
Responsible for managing, staffing, and scheduling all direct report work schedules within the branch, including recruiting/identifying talent, interviewing, selecting the branch team, and successfully onboarding and training new teammates
Facilitates in-person morning huddles and end of day debriefs
Deliver a consistent, disciplined coaching and performance management process by observational coaching, joint sales calls, growth and development, utilization of training tools, all leveraging our culture of reward and recognition
Provide guidance and direction to branch team to ensure compliance of regulatory, security and internal controls, which includes timely completion of all branch operations tasks
Work on Saturdays as directed by management.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $68,000.00 - $103,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
