    Under direct supervision an Operations Specialist I, the Process Specialist - OPS performs various functions that are routine to moderately complex in nature. These include but are not limited to sorting, processing, researching, extracting, scanning, data entry and filing documents. This position should be able to adapt to change, process changes, and schedule changes, etc. per business need, working in a fast paced, high volume production environment, as well as provide the best customer service by meeting service level standards with a service heart attitude. Duties and Responsibilities: Completes daily and recurring work in a timely manner. Compiles regular reports as needed. Exchanges information and resolves problems that are somewhat routine with solutions based on past practices. Cross trained to perform several functions. Performs other duties as assigned. Onsite and in office position located at 5555 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, Ohio. The hours for this role are 10am-7pm Mon-Fri.     As a Credit Service Specialist 1, you will have the opportunity to grow and advance your career within the Credit Services Department. The Credit Services Team at Huntington provides a “Category of One” customer service experience. By potentially cross training specialist on Mortgage, Personal Credit Lines (PLC), all non-real estate delinquent products, including Credit Card, DDA and Installment Loan. You will work directly with customers experiencing financial challenges, guiding them toward solutions that fit their needs. By asking probing questions to understand their situation, listening actively to identify concerns and offering tailored solutions to help customers regain financial stability. Duties and Responsibilities: · Contacts delinquent customers by telephone or mail to collect past due payments or to make alternative payment arrangements. · Establishes and maintains files relating to collection activities. · Uses basic skip tracing to locate delinquent customers. · Recommends action for management decisions in dealing with repossessions, bankruptcy, and/or foreclosure. · Arranges for appropriate bank and/or legal action based on account analysis and as directed by manager. · Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: · High school diploma, GED, or equivalent · 1 year of customer service experience Preferred Qualifications: · Call Center experience · Must have a desire to educate and assist troubled customers · Must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate over the phone in a professional and personable manner within time constraints · Ability to understand complex processes · Must be able to easily adapt to change and embrace continuous improvement · Must be goal-oriented and self-motivated · Must be comfortable using a computer and keyboard · Working knowledge of consumer and collection law · Knowledge of Composer, Black Knight, CACS, RMS and HOGAN systems helpful As a Credit Service Specialist 1, you will have the opportunity to grow and advance your career within the Credit Services Department.
