Christopher D. Kastner is corporate vice president, business management, and chief financial officer of Huntington Ingalls Industries, America’s largest military shipbuilding company and a provider of manufacturing, engineering and management services to the nuclear energy, oil and gas markets. In this position since March 2016, Kastner is responsible for directing the business strategy and processes in support of business growth and profitability goals. He also has responsibility for corporate business management functions, including investor relations, treasury, internal audit, contracts, accounting, financial reporting, planning and analysis, rates and budgets, and mergers and acquisition. He also provides oversight for segment business management, contracts, and estimating and pricing. Kastner previously served as vice president and CFO for HII’s Ingalls Shipbuilding division, as vice president, business management, and CFO for Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding-Gulf Coast, and as vice president, contracts and risk management, for Northrop Grumman Ship Systems. Most recently, he served as HII’s corporate vice president and general manager, corporate development, and was responsible for strategy and development activities, including the development and integration of strategic planning efforts as well as the analysis and entrance into new adjacent markets. Kastner has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA from Pepperdine University. He is on the board of directors for WHRO, the only public broadcasting station in the United States owned by a collaboration of 19 local public school districts, and on the board of trustees for Eastern Virginia Medical School. Thomas E. Stiehle is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Huntington Ingalls Industries, America’s largest military shipbuilding company and a provider of professional services to partners in government and industry.

Stiehle was promoted to the position in February 2021 after serving as vice president and CFO at HII’s Ingalls Shipbuilding division. In this role, Tom directs HII’s corporate strategy and processes in support of business growth and profitability goals. He is also responsible for corporate business management functions, including investor relations, treasury, internal audit, contracts, accounting, financial reporting, planning and analysis, rates and budgets, and mergers and acquisition.

As CFO at Ingalls, Tom oversaw all financial, contracts, estimating and pricing, finance and business management functions, as well as Information Technology functionality and services at Ingalls. Previously, Tom served as vice president, Contracts and Pricing for Ingalls and was responsible for estimating, pricing, contract negotiations and administration. Prior to joining HII in 2011, Tom worked for Northrop Grumman, Aerospace Sector, for 24 years.

Tom began his career with Grumman Aircraft Corp. as a design engineer, with tours in Product Operations, Estimating and Pricing, and Contracts, securing awards for both Department of Defense and commercial programs. He held positions of increasing responsibility within the business organization to include contracts & pricing manager, business manager and director of business management, overseeing all production business operations at Northrop Grumman’s Joint-STARS program valued at more than $3 billion.

Chad Boudreaux is executive vice president and chief legal officer for Huntington Ingalls Industries, America’s largest military shipbuilding company and a provider of professional services to partners in government and industry.

Serving in this role since April 2020, he has overall leadership responsibility for HII’s Law Department and outside counsel, which provide a broad range of legal advice and support for the company’s business activities, including corporate governance matters, compliance, litigation management, and mergers and acquisitions.

Previous to this appointment, Boudreaux managed HII’s litigation docket and oversaw HII’s nationally recognized compliance program as the company’s first chief compliance officer. He joined HII in 2011 as corporate vice president for litigation, investigations and compliance. In 2014, he led the Law Department team that won the coveted ACC Value Challenge Award for HII’s compliance program, a program that has since been heralded as “a roadmap for other companies.”

Before joining HII, he practiced law at Baker Botts LLP, where he established the law firm’s Global Security and Corporate Risk Counseling practice group. He has also previously held various high-ranking positions in the U.S. government to include serving as the deputy chief of staff of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and multiple leadership positions at the U.S. Department of Justice.

Boudreaux earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Memphis School of Law. He is a recipient of the U.S. Justice Department’s Special Commendation for Outstanding Service for his work on high-stakes litigation for the United States.
