Duties and Responsibilities:

Typical assignments include:

· Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
· Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:

Job Description
Greensea IQ is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the Research and Development of EverClean, Greensea's innovative ship maintenance robot product. This role will work directly with the EverClean Product Manager, field service technicians, and Greensea's production engineers to design, evolve, and constantly advance the EverClean robot system. This job is equal parts problem-solving and creative invention. EverClean is a new concept in ship maintenance and while it has been in production for a few years, Greensea strives to always be at the forefront of innovation while we advance the use of robotics to create a new paradigm of fuel efficiency and carbon reduction in maritime transportation.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Mechanical Engineer working with robotics, complex machines, and mechatronics. This candidate will have experience working within a small team composed of software developers, UX designers, electrical engineers, and subject matter experts. They will have experience with many different types of materials and be familiar with designing systems for rigorous environmental requirements.
The Mechanical Engineer Research and Development will be responsible for the early-stage product design. They will focus on the next generation of product design to advance the existing product revision, solve current problems, improve efficiency, achieve new product strategies, and incorporate new features and technologies. Once prototyped, the Mechanical Engineer Research and Development will hand these early-stage product designs off to the production engineering team for final production readiness. This role is expected to have total ownership over the physical robotic system of EverClean.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Product Manager of EverClean to understand the strategic objectives of the product, both near-term and long-term, and develop a technical work plan to achieve those goals from the perspective of the physical elements of the EverClean product.
Work closely with the operations staff to understand what is working, what isn't working, and what could be improved within the EverClean robotic system.
Design product advancements to achieve the product goals of EverClean.
Produce prototype systems to thoroughly test product advancements.
Support production engineers in the transition and sustainment of new designs to full production systems.
Work closely with software and electrical engineers to develop a robotic system that is optimal, efficient, and robust while meeting all product requirements.
Collaborate with field service technicians and other engineers in field testing and evaluation, often traveling to ports and harbors to deploy and operate EverClean robots.

**_Job Summary_**
The **Meeting & Event Planner, Attendee Recruitment & Engagement** will work closely with Meeting Managers, Pharmaceutical clients and Healthcare Professional partners, assisting in the successful execution of both promotional and consulting activities, and is particularly responsible for working with our database and project managers to create invitation lists and manage outreach to our applicable audience for each event as well as maintaining tracking spreadsheets and providing status reports. This position will serve as the attendee recruitment lead for Meetings and Events.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Create attendee recruiting strategy for assigned projects
+ Manages recruiting efforts per guidelines identified by the project manager and client.
+ Work with senior team members to generate applicable invitation lists for each event.
+ Adherence to compliance regulations, i.e. debarment rules, repeat rules, etc.
+ Participate in internal and external meetings on a weekly basis
+ Work in CVENT to track incoming registrations and manage the registrant approval process
+ Work in CVENT to run registration reports and disseminate to the appropriate distribution list.
+ Assist in onsite attendee support at assigned events.
+ Work with meeting managers on collection and tracking of contracts and W9s and monitoring compliance to all guidelines.
**_Qualifications:_**
+ Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
+ 3+ years' experience in related field, preferred
+ Previous experience working with HCPs preferably with and oncology and/or rheumatology focus
+ Experience in event marketing, event planning, or audience recruitment, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry, highly preferred
+ Experience working with event management systems (CVENT) and with CRM systems
+ Strong Excel experience preferred (Vlookups, etc highly preferred)
+ Strong project management and organizational skills
+ Strong written and verbal skills
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
+ Ability to travel up to 35% (approx 1x per month for a few days)

Under the supervision of the Director of Financial Aid at CalArts, this position is to provide quality customer service by assisting approximately 200 to 300 VCFA students through the financial aid and account clearance process throughout their enrollment; coordinating the financial aid services including packaging and counseling, setting up payment arrangements; and continuously monitoring student accounts to ensure proper billing, collections, and refunds are taking place by performing the following duties:
Location
This position is primarily remote with scheduled travel to VCFA residency site as needed. Residents of Los Angeles County will be required to work on a hybrid schedule in Valencia, California.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Aid
Provide financial aid counseling to prospective and current students on the various federal, institutional and state aid programs.
Conduct financial aid workshops; perform verification, enforce satisfactory academic progress, perform student aid packaging and awarding of students
Respond to inquiries regarding all aspects of the financial aid process.
Process financial aid awards in accordance with federal, state, and institutional. Interpret student aid legislation.
Advise students in person and/or by telephone.
Assist students with the completion of required forms.
Understand and maintain current knowledge of all financial aid programs. Also, act as a resource person for support staff.
Work with individual student files to perform verification and recalculation of financial need when necessary.
Identify errors on ISIR's/SAR's and assist the student in the correction process.
Monitor students' satisfactory academic progress.
Ensure student awards do not exceed the total cost of attendance.
Assist with entrance and exit counseling sessions.
Assists students with all questions relating to completing the steps required to obtain education loans, e.g. federal and private.
Perform other duties as assigned including support for both VCFA and CalArts financial aid programming and services.
Coordinate with the Director of Financial Aid to complete Return to Title IV (R2T4) calculation for withdrawn students.
Student Accounts
Counsel students regarding their financial obligation to the institute.
Explain the institute's policies and procedures as they relate to student accounts.
Review student billing and financial aid awards to determine out-of-pocket costs and balance due; assist students with setting up a payment plan to cover.
Work closely with Enrollment Management, the Controller and other offices of the institute to resolve student related concerns.
Thoroughly respond to inquiries from students and staff by way of email, phone, and in person.
Monitor student account balances, keeping students informed of their account status. This may involve follow-up with the students regarding payment plans and the application for financial aid.
Assist with collection efforts of past-due accounts.
Manage student account holds; verify clearance to register and receive transcripts and diplomas.
Initiate student refund requests for students with excess funds or overpayments.
Coordinate and follow up on payment plans with the contracted tuition management service.
Invoice and coordinate with Veteran Affairs, Employers, Department of Rehabilitation, ROTC, etc. for students with benefits from outside organizations.
Maintain student files and correspondence.
