guidelines.

As a Quality Control Technician, you will:

* Perform accurate and timely inspections and testing of samples of raw materials, intermediate and finished goods.
* Maintain quality control records, including data entry into notebooks, logs, LIMS / Labworks software and ERP / SAP software.
* Issue timely notifications of nonconforming results as appropriate.
* Maintain retained samples and prevents detrimental exposures and contamination.
* Maintain traceability and retrievability of retained samples.
* Properly replenishes retained samples when running low.

* Maintain a clean and orderly workplace in accordance with Company requirements.

* Complete periodic quality refresher and environmental health and safety training.

Skills and experiences required:

* Minimum associate degree of science in chemistry or a related field with hands-on laboratory coursework.
* Laboratory work experience demonstrating proficiency in wet and analytical chemistry, handling strong acids, strong bases, and organic solvents.
* Experience with industrial adhesives testing preferred but not required.
* Experience with mechanical testing is preferred but not required.

* Operate a variety of automated and manual manufacturing equipment including mixing/blending, granulation, bagging, and extrusion equipment

* Must be detail oriented and be able to recognize common errors, malfunctions, and/or deviations in documentation, quality, equipment, and/or performance standards

Huntsman's Performance Products Division is now searching for a new Maintenance Reliability Engineer

who will be responsible for the overall mechanical reliability of the plant including both fixed and rotating equipment. This role is an active, full time member of the maintenance team located in Conroe, Texas.

As the Maintenance Reliability Engineer, you will:

* Facilitates Reliability-Centered Maintenance studies to optimize preventative, on-condition, and failure finding tasks as well as review critical spare parts.
* Responsible for conducting criticality assessments throughout the plant
* Provides the production and process engineering departments with technical support concerning the maintenance and proper operation of mechanical equipment within the areas assigned.
* Often serves as incident investigation team lead for reported incidents. Reports findings and recommended action items to management when required.
* Acts as a liaison between Center of Excellence corporate engineering and the plant. Serves as project lead and site contact for corporate driven reliability and mechanical integrity initiatives.
* Maintains a list of "bad actor" equipment and monitor health of equipment after improvements have been made.
* Occasionally steps up as a team lead for resolving unusual plant downtime situations. i.e. following a critical pump repair and communicating with outside shop personnel and reporting status to the plant's leadership team.
* Supports capital project design and procurement from a RAMS2 (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety and Sustainability) standpoint.
* Assists with Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance as it relates to mechanical integrity, engineering design, relief devices, process safety information, maintenance related procedures and all applicable document retention requirements.
* Assists when needed in the maintenance, modification, or improvement of equipment including proper documentation and regulatory change management.
* Works with operators to maintain/operate equipment in excellent working condition.
* Leads root cause activities for stationary and rotating equipment failures.
* Serves as an engineering resource as required for unit inspections and maintenance turnarounds
* Acts as contract coordinator for services related to reliability. (Mechanical Seals, vibration analysis, oil analysis, engineering analysis, and other special services).
* Responsible for monthly equipment Key Performance Indicator reporting.
* Keeps current with technical developments in his/her respective field through outside study, trade journals, technical societies, and seminars.

Skills and experiences required:

* Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years' experience.
* Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs
* Good oral and written skills are a necessity.
* Professional Engineering License a plus.

Instrumentation Technician

Huntsman's Performance Products Division is now searching for a new Instrumentation Technician

who will perform complex predictive and preventative I/E maintenance functions as an Instrumentation Technician in the Huntsman Conroe facility. This facility routinely operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the year. The associate(s) in this position are required to respond to instrumentation maintenance during the regular shift and at other times to ensure the plant runs as safely and reliably as possible. This role is an active, full-time member of the maintenance team located in Conroe, Texas.

As the Instrumentation Technician, you will:

* Routinely and as needed performs complex predictive and preventative instrumentation maintenance functions to include calibrations and equipment specific testing to include emergency shutdown systems and field transmitters. Makes complex technical equipment repairs such as control valves, analyzers, flow meters, conservation vents, sight glasses, and other digital or mechanical instruments.
* Routinely and as needed provides diagnostic evaluation for causes of various technical equipment failures, including field instrumentation, programmable logic controllers and distributive control systems. Performs complex troubleshooting and takes appropriate action.
* On occasion makes process control changes.
* Reads wiring and circuit diagrams. Perform basic electrical functions/troubleshooting.
* As needed may fill in for lead position as necessary.

Skills and experiences required:

* A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
* A two-year degree in Instrumentation Technology or related field is required.
* 3+ years' electrical, instrumentation experience is required.
* Must have strong field instrumentation troubleshooting skills.
* Expert knowledge of electrical instrumentation functions.
* Working knowledge of DCS systems.
* Ability to read, write and interpret wiring and circuit diagrams.
* Ability to read and understand safety rules.
* Expert knowledge of electrical equipment and tools.
* Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Time management, organizational and prioritizing skills.
