Job Scope The Master Planner is responsible for owning the short-term supply plan and order fulfillment process for assigned product families. This role ensures an effective balance of supply and demand within a 0-3-month planning horizon, working closely with production schedulers and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate production schedules, demand signals, and inventory levels within SAP. In summary, as the Master Planner, you will: * Own the short-term supply planning and order fulfillment process for assigned product families. * Conduct daily reviews of unconfirmed orders and provide guidance on acceptance, revised shipping dates, or rejection in coordination with Customer Service. * Review and validate demand forecasts uploaded into SAP and actively manage demand signals, including sales orders, planned independent requirements, and intercompany purchase orders. * Add, delete, and adjust demand elements in SAP to balance supply and demand. * Review, approve, and adjust production schedules in collaboration with Production Schedulers, responding to constraints related to production, raw materials, and packaging. * Coordinate rapid schedule changes and communicate available supply during unexpected disruptions such as weather events, plant outages, or raw material shortages. * Monitor aggregate and product-level inventory against established targets and identify obsolete, expiring, or excess stock. * Provide feedback to S&OP Managers regarding inventory targets and future planning needs. * Monitor inventory levels of key raw materials and intermediates to support ongoing plant and fulfillment operations. * Enforce allocation limits when supply is constrained and coordinate with other regions to move or cancel orders as needed. * Periodically review and update SAP planning parameters and related work processes to improve performance and productivity. * Participate in projects and represent the supply chain function and assigned product families in cross-functional meetings and business development initiatives.
