    The PAR Team Lead will be responsible for providing quality customer service to our callers through daily assistance with PAR Specialists and ensuring processes and procedures are followed. Additionally, the Lead will also assist with identifying additional specialist training needs and ensuring the call center metrics are met by monitoring the break and lunch schedule and specialist availability. The Lead will also assist the management team by handling escalated calls and assisting with supervisor-level approvals. Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00, plus bonus eligible Average Team Lead makes $18.30 or more per hour within 60-90 days including bonuses! Ability to work from home after 90-day probation period (in Office) is complete. Flexible scheduling includes: Flexible start times Various lunchtimes are available: 1 hour, 45 min or 30 min Education or Prior Experience: GED/High School Diploma 6+ Months Early Out Call Center Experience (will accept 6 months experience in another revenue cycle capacity) Prior leadership experience preferred Duties and Responsibilities: Effectively execute the vision, mission, and objectives of the call center. Meet or exceed department key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide effective two-way feedback to motivate high performance and a productive environment. Be available to support employees with account and call handling, including taking escalated supervisor calls. Build and maintain open lines of communication with agents, supervisors and managers Conduct side-by-side live monitoring with PAR Specialists for up to 90 minutes daily Take agents' views and feedback on board with an aim to improve workplace experience PIR and Incident management to ensure proper timely resolution for patients. Monitor queue status, ensuring the call center works efficiently and effectively towards metric goals. Effectively communicate with the management team to enable them to make decisions related to employee coaching and development. Identify opportunities for improvement in relation to work processes and procedures. Create, update, and maintain procedures as needed. Use appropriate judgment in decision-making and interdepartmental communications. Dedicate time each shift for call center floor monitoring Dedicate time each shift to work billing office tickler and contact patients if required. Assisting with patient calls in the Inbound and Inbound Dialer queue during extreme call volume Work rotational weekends, on-call shifts during inclement weather, or after-hours shifts as needed. Requirements: Knowledge Knowledge of customer service best practices. Knowledge of calculating discounts. Knowledge in 10 key by touch typing. Knowledge of client requirements and guidelines. Understanding of billing and recovery cycle. Understanding of legal rules and regulations pertaining to billing, collections, and HIPPA. Working knowledge of Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office products Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, writing policy, and other office procedures and terminology. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.
