Pros of working at Huntsville Hospital
employment
Cons of working at Huntsville Hospital
we need more space and time. Raises are guarded, and held until 4-5 years at which point a "market analysis is performed to reveal its substandard. Then new rates are implemented until 4-5 years later. All monies seem to go for expansion of other facilities to monopolized the region for one provider. I been here 20 years. I have further been in middle management.
Huntsville Hospital benefits
Work is close to home...short drive.

Nice people for conversation but not much transparency.

Carrot on a string. The donkey will pull harder if the carrot is the reward. Offer bonus, incentive, etc. This will cause people to want to strive for more if you will profit share.

Pros of working at Huntsville Hospital
There are none but HH owned everything so options are limited.
Cons of working at Huntsville Hospital
The pay rate, benefits & nurse to patient ratio of HH is disgraceful. Unsafe for employees and patients. Unless you work in administration, you live paycheck to paycheck.
Huntsville Hospital benefits
There is nothing good worth mentioning. I have only horrible experiences at HH. Both as an employee and a patient.
What do you like best about Huntsville Hospital's CEO and the leadership team?
He is a reminder of how unjust the healthcare field has become.
How would you improve Huntsville Hospital's culture?
Significant merit raises and bonuses to all staff who stayed through the pandemic. To the employees who deliberately did not leave then come back just to collect a hefty sign on bonus and base rate increase.
How did you prepare for the Huntsville Hospital interview?
If you have a pulse, they’ll hire you.
How does your compensation at Huntsville Hospital compare to the industry average?
Despicable. It has people leaving the field of healthcare all together.
What's the diversity at Huntsville Hospital like?
Nearly 70% of management is white. Admin shouldn’t be making 6 figures while struggling with short staffing and financially.
