Responsibilities The HVAC Technician I responsibilities involves semi-skilled maintenance and repair work for the City of Dayton buildings, focusing on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Duties include repairing and servicing commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems, handling electrical tasks below the journey-worker level, and assisting electricians and HVAC Technician II as needed. The position requires performing various trade skills, mostly at the journey-worker level, under the general supervision of the Facility Maintenance Supervisor. Incumbent will operate, maintain, install, and repair a wide range of HVAC equipment and related systems.
