Job Description The Remote HVAC Appliance Technician installs, repairs, and maintains industrial and commercial HVAC equipment as well as electric air handling units, exhaust fans, make up air units, pneumatic as well as line, and low voltage controls, various appliances and air compressors. All duties are to be performed in accordance with NMS' mission, vision, and values. Responsibilities * Trouble shoots and repairs, as dictated by sound business practices, industrial HVAC equipment, pneumatic control systems, line and low voltage control systems, residential style fuel burning and electric furnaces, unit heaters, kitchen exhaust systems, various appliances, air compressors and other general service areas. * Repairs and maintains all the heating, air handling systems and A/C units. * Interprets preventative maintenance schedules and carries them through the steps needed for completion as noted on computer generated general maintenance/repair work orders. * Trouble shoots and repair large tonnage cooling equipment used in controlled environment such as labs or computer and control areas. * Diagnose and repair pneumatic systems related to building climate controls. * Lays out the installation of structural and functional components and installs them as required.
