Position Summary:
We are looking for a Crane Service Technician Level 2 or Level 3 for our Glendale, AZ location.
Responsibilities:
Perform on-site preventative maintenance, repairs, and modernizations on electric overhead traveling cranes
Spend time consulting with customers on repair and safety related issues
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
Generate sales leads during service calls
Accurately and neatly document on the service report for the work performed.
New crane wiring, assembly, installation, and start-up.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Travel may be required. Work vehicle provided.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory, as well as the ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3 phase motor control systems. A.A. degree or Equivalent vocational-training or experience is preferred.
A minimum of 2-year hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance
Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments as well as familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment
Willingness to work overtime
Possession of a valid driver's license with good driving record
Must pass drug-screen and background check
Strong communication skills
Proven commitment to safety
Comfort with working at heights
Experience in Variable Frequency drives and PLC programming a plus
Crane maintenance experience a plus.

HVAC - Apprentice
Purpose Statement
The job of HVAC - Apprentice is done for the purpose/s of maintaining heating /air conditioning systems and/or refrigeration systems; identifying repair and/or replacement needs necessary to maintain equipment and systems; providing appropriate documentation required by other personnel and for conforming to regulations.
Essential Functions
* Assists in repair and installation in other areas of maintenance as may be required for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
* Assists other trades personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
* Coordinates with administration and other trades for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently.
* Diagnoses problems and /or failures in heating/air conditioning / refrigeration systems and/or generators for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and replacement needs.
* Fabricates sheet metal systems for the purpose of ensuring availability of appropriate materials for installation or repair.
* Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders (e.g. computerized control systems, electronic console, etc.) for the purpose of providing information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with health and safety regulations.
* Inspects facilities, systems and their components for the purpose of ensuring safety and identifying necessary repairs and providing an ongoing program of preventive maintenance.
* Installs heating/air conditioning/refrigeration equipment and systems for the purpose of providing comfort inside facilities.
* Maintains tools and/or equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition.
* Prepares documentation for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information.
* Repairs various items, systems and/or components (e.g. chiller equipment, cooling towers, exhaust/heating equipment, exhaust fan systems, low temperature & ice makers, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring that items are available and in safe working condition.
* Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required items.
* Responds to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
* Transport various items (e.g. tools, equipment, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at the job site.
Other Functions
* Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work

Mental Requirements
Learning Development- Level C Sufficient to read and write technical instruction, understand standardized methods, operate specialized and varied equipment, perform standard mathematical applications. Learning development involves the equivalent of some technical or vocational training beyond high school, often resulting in a certification.
Problem Solving - Level 1 Work situations are routine and regularly recurring, requiring attention and concentration, but limited discretion, consideration, and planning to adequately respond and carry out work activities.
Physical Requirements
Physical Skill - Level A Basic level of learned physical skill is required. No special coordination beyond that used for normal mobility and handling of everyday objects and materials is needed to perform the job satisfactorily.
Physical Effort - Level 2 Job requires light physical effort as a part of regular work routine, such as frequent standing and walking; frequent lifting, guiding, and/or carrying of light-weight materials or equipment; occasional periods of sustained effort.

Human Relations Skill- Level A Job requires ordinary conversational skills and courtesy to exchange Routine information, provide routine assistance, and/or help maintain harmony among work associates.
Scope of Contacts - Level 1 The important job contacts are with peers in the immediate work group and immediate supervisor. Occasional contact with individuals outside the organization may occur.
Work Environment
Performance Environment - Level A Changes in environments, work pressure, disturbances of work flow, and irregularities in work schedule are infrequent.
Physical Working Conditions - Level 2 Somewhat disagreeable conditions. Work may be performed in cramped or awkward positions. occasional exposure to safety hazards, disease, or contamination results in chance for lost-time accidents. Occasional exposure to noise, temperature extremes, etc
Accountability
Level of Accountability -Level B Responsible for producing journey-level work output on an independent basis subject to supervisory direction and review.
Organizational Impact - Level 1 Work results impact the immediate work section with little effect beyond. Responsible for results or services that facilitate the work of others in a specific work group.
Experience, Education, and Certifications
Experience: Job related experience is required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Certifications/Clearances: Must possess a valid Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card while employed. Valid Driver's License & Evidence of Insurability. EPA Certified is desirable

FLSA Status: Non Exempt
Pay Schedule: Hourly - Grade 111
