This position requires knowledge of and expertise in performing non-invasive diagnostic procedures used in evaluating vascular occlusive disease, as well as the ability to objectively identify the presence or absence of disease utilizing a variety of ultrasound and Doppler equipment. The technologist has the ability to modify procedures with the approval of the Supervisor or Medical Director, to meet special circumstances to provide clinically useful information on a cost-effective basis. The technologist will comply with the standards set by the Inter-societal accreditation commission (IAC) for departmental policies and procedures. This position requires shared regional coverage for stand-by and call back on evenings and weekends.

ABOUT THE JOB:
Anctil is seeking an experienced HVAC Tech with a skilled background, hands-on approach, and the ability to work independently or as a team, to provide comfort solutions to our customers.
As an Anctil Service Technician your primary responsibilities will be to travel to customer locations, diagnose, and repair their HVAC equipment. At times, to fill in your schedule, you will perform planned maintenance. You will follow company standards and procedures as you do your work, and detail all work performed and parts used in our field service software. Finally, you will provide excellent customer service on every job and ensure our customers continue to ask for Anctil, as many of them of done for decades.
Responsibilities include:
· Work with safety in mind at all times.
· Inspect and troubleshoot problems with existing HVAC units.
· Install replacement parts on existing HVAC units.
· Clean, adjust, repair systems, and perform warranty services.
· Maintain inventory of replacement parts and order replacements.
· Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
· Participate in technical trainings, safety meetings, and teamwork projects.
· Ability to work after hours, over the weekends, and holiday work, as needed.
· Participate in the service team on-call rotation.
· Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate properly.

· 3 years of HVAC experience or 2 years combined experience and trade school.
· Current EPA 608 Certification
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment (for experienced technicians).
· Ability to use power and hand tools.
· Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC system.
· Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems.
· Ability to follow instructions.
· Excellent mechanical skills.
· Excellent communication skills required to interact with customers.
· Valid Driver's License.
· Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship of an HVAC program- not required but helpful.
· Current Oregon LEB technician license a HUGE PLUS!
Physical Requirements include:
· Working within tight/confined spaces.
· Physically able to work on HVAC units.
· Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.
· Possibly of working in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on the time of year.
· Must be able to lift 50lbs+ and communicate when needing a team lift member.
