Position Summary
The Facilities Technician is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager or Manager on Duty with the implementation of safety plans, operating standards and guidelines, troubleshooting, repairs, and performing preventative maintenance required to maintain the physical assets of the property.

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various building systems
Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs and maintain cleanliness of property

Assist in the setup of events and install/take-down mall decor
Perform interior/exterior custodial duties as needed which may include sweeping, vacuuming, steam cleaning, gathering trash, empty trash receptacles; operate compactor; and landscaping
Assist with snow removal by vehicle and/or by hand (if applicable)

Purpose Statement
Installs, repairs and maintains a variety of commercial heating, air conditioning, air handling units, boilers and cooling towers. Ensure completion of projects in accordance to trade standards and maintain facilities in a safe, usable and attractive condition.

Diagnose and repair problems with a variety of HVAC systems, including but not limited to boilers, chillers, cooling towers, heat pumps, geothermal, VRF/VRV (Daikin), to ensure proper functionality.
Install/replace HVAC equipment to ensure a comfortable working environment.
Monitor existing HVAC systems and components, for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventative maintenance.
Monitor contract work to ensure contract terms are fulfilled and work standards are met.
Respond to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
Work with preventative maintenance to help resolve HVAC related issues.
Estimate materials and/or equipment needed to complete projects as assigned.
Daily coordination with supervisor and/or other trades as necessary to complete projects and work orders efficiently.

Technical Expertise
Serve as the Installation Services subject matter expert. Mentor and peer coach Installation Services Technician I.
Perform installations, while adhering to: applicable codes, requirements, guidelines, company procedures, and safe work practices to provide an outstanding customer experience.
Work collaboratively with cross functional remote teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues (e.g., troubleshoot Remote Gateway and wireless extenders with the Network Operations Center, partner with our remote engineers to troubleshoot account provisioning, and troubleshoot WiFi signals including RSSI values with the Install Support Team).
Update customer accounts to ensure an accurate record of their products and services to develop a positive ongoing customer relationship.
Use installation tools and hand tools and perform jobs from high places (on poles and roofs), including climbing poles with the permitted equipment (safety belt, strap, climbers), ladders and bucket trucks (18 to 26 feet).
Manipulate connectors, fasteners, wire and use hand tools.
Wiring single dwelling units and multiple dwelling units (MDUs). This may require working in crawl spaces, attics, and other confined spaces.
Adhere to manufacturers rated weight capacity for all equipment, including but not limited to ladders and aerial lifts.

What will you be doing?
As a Field Technician, you will be representing DISH in customers' homes daily. We build our value by simplifying lives and using the DISH install to consult homeowners on their infinite smart home possibilities.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
All technicians must have:
Aptitude to build rapport quickly. We want you to have a great time servicing our clients
Ability to work at heights, including ladders up to 40 feet, and in all weather conditions
Ability to lift over 70 lbs
A valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment with a driving record that meets DISH's safety standard
Travel may be required
Salary Range
Compensation: $20.50/Hour

Join Our Elite Team of Technicians! Total Mechanical Service is hiring an HVAC, Refrigeration & Cooking Equipment Technician responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial kitchen & refrigeration equipment at our customer locations. Our technicians also provide preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and respond to emergency service calls on equipment including ovens, fryers, steamers, warmers, dish cleaning equipment, walk-ins, and ice machines.
Essential Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair Cooking, Refrigeration, & HVAC Equipment
* Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy, and professionalism
* Complete service calls promptly
* Communicate effectively with customers, managers, dispatchers, and sales
* Participate in on-call rotation schedule
* Identify new customers and additional opportunities within existing accounts
* Maintain Service Vehicle
* Order Parts and Complete Required Paperwork
* Attend Training Sessions
* Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications
* Previous experience cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC equipment service (or related military) experience
* Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills
* Effective customer communication skills
* 100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organized
* Maintain a professional personal appearance
* Completion of a successful background check and drug screen.
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Driving record must align with our safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Fryers, Ovens, Steamers, Ranges, Broilers, Ware Wash, Walk-ins, coolers, freezers, ice machines, prep tables, etc.
* CFESA certification and related Training
* EPA Universal Certification,
* Computer literate
