Completion of an accredited HVAC/Oil Burner Technician program or relevant certifications. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician/Oil Burner Technician. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and refrigeration units. Familiarity with HVAC control systems and their components. Comfortability servicing oil burners Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints. Possess relevant HVAC certifications, such as EPA 608 Universal Certification or Oil Burner Technician Certification. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and develop effective solutions. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions. Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with customers and team members. Ability to manage time efficiently to complete tasks within deadlines. Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
