In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems on marine vessels as well as being a leader in the department to lower level technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marine HVAC systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to ensuring comfort and safety aboard all vessels. They will also exemplify our core values of professionalism, integrity, quality, and commitment. Requirements:Key Responsibilities Installation: Install, calibrate, and test new marine HVAC and refrigeration systems in compliance with industry standards. Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and longevity. Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in compressors, evaporators, condensers, and related components. Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic tools to quickly identify issues and provide effective solutions. Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations, maritime standards, and company policies. Customer Service: Communicate clearly with vessel owners and captains, offering professional advice on system care.
