Position Summary:
A Refrigeration Technician will diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair all series of motor truck and trailer equipment with the primary focus on all refrigeration unit maintenance equipment designed for commercial trucks and trailers. Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on commercial reefer equipment. Position Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of components on truck and trailer reefer units.
Maintaining transport refrigeration unit on trucks and trailers by performing diagnostics using scanners, electronic test equipment, and onboard computers.
Supports the company's college recruiting efforts by developing relationships with partner universities and participating in recruiting activities to attract students to job openings.
Completing preventive maintenance, component replacement, and service to refrigeration equipment.
Maintains truck and trailer refrigeration units and truck's APU by reviewing shop orders.
Repairing failures; removing, replacing, and testing for Freon leaks, assembling and installing parts and components involving soldering, welding, and the use of refrigeration equipment.
Installing various new units on trailers, trucks, and vans.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Required Experience:
3+ year's experience working on Thermo King or Carrier reefer units. Must be 608 certified. Must have specialized training and experience in the overhaul of refrigeration components. Proficiency in the use of all necessary tools of trade is required. Must have ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit and regularly lift or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift or move up to 100lbs/45kg. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule and work at the specific location. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must own your own tools.

Position Overview: Lead Commercial HVAC Technician
As a Lead Commercial HVAC Technician, you'll play a key leadership role supporting your Regional Service Manager and team. You'll ensure operational excellence, safety, and quality service delivery across your assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct monthly audits to ensure compliance with company standards
Perform truck inspections (cleanliness, equipment, PPE)
Conduct site assessments (e.g., roof cleanliness, proper disposal of materials)
Verify quality of repairs and installations
Ensure team members have proper PPE and coordinate replenishment
Approve vendors for operational needs
Assist with technician vacation planning and on-call scheduling
Lead PM completion efforts and ensure accurate documentation
Support training coordination for technicians

Qualifications Experience
5+ years of commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience
2+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role

Familiarity with national accounts or multi-site operations (preferred)
Certifications

What you will do
Under minimal supervision, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning and general servicing of systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on site, customer interface. With a high level of complete technical competence, mentors control technicians, service technicians and mechanical technicians on building automation activities. Position Summary
We are seeking a Field Services HVAC Technician to support Butterfly, an energy management client focused on reducing energy consumption across retail and restaurant facilities. This mobile role involves light maintenance, inspections, and energy audits of rooftop HVAC units (RTUs) and other systems within a two-hour radius of Washington, DC. Technicians return home nightly and are provided with a company vehicle, tools, uniform, and fuel card.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform inspections and light maintenance on rooftop HVAC units (RTUs), typically ranging from 5 to 20 tons.
* Conduct energy audits using metering devices and complete Butterfly's reporting worksheets.
* Replace filters, clean coils, clear drains, and perform minor repairs (e.g., belts, economizers).
* Troubleshoot HVAC issues and provide detailed findings to contractors for resolution.

What You Will Do

Job Overview:
The Field Service Technician for Ingersoll Rand's Compression Systems and Services Division serves customers by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating and/or Centac and ECC air compressors, along with additional compressed air system components. You will use precision measuring tools for diagnostic troubleshooting of compressed air equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure proper functionality. The technician will perform routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair tasks. Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring satisfaction will also be a key part of the role.
Qualifications
Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system issues
Proficiency in maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance tasks
Strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence
EPA certification or equivalent qualifications (required)
Ability to work independently on-site and communicate effectively with customers and team members
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in HVAC is a plus
