What You'll Do
As a Fire Protection Sales/Service Technician, you'll ensure the effectiveness and compliance of fire protection systems in commercial facilities. You'll handle sales, installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of fire protection systems, extinguishers, and emergency lighting while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sell fire protection services and products within assigned territory while maintaining sales/service quotas.
Inspect, service, and install fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and exit/emergency lighting.
Identify new prospects using creative lead generation strategies.
Present proposals and highlight the advantages of State Systems' solutions.
Follow up with potential clients and process work orders promptly.
Service existing customers and build long-term relationships.
Complete all reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Physically capable of lifting 75 lbs., climbing ladders up to 12 ft., and working in various conditions.
Willingness to work outdoors and handle materials that may be skin or respiratory irritants (MSDS available).
Compensation
