As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, your role will support and oversee repair within the Walmart facilities Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling
Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent
Job Duties:
Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines by performing work according to practices and procedures outlined in the Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and comfortable working at heights frequently

Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080

What you will do
Our Early Career Sales Engineering (BEST) Program is a 6-month technical sales development program for Recent College Graduates that focuses on creating market share by strategic selling Johnson Controls' HVAC products and services to commercial customers. In this program you will have a chance to apply your technical engineering knowledge and business acumen to work with customers to better understand their product and project needs by being the subject matter expert. As part of the program, you will participate in a 6-month training and development program combining classroom, field orientation, and on the job training. The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a unique hybrid role for stores and is intended as a key pipeline for future career-growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. Qualifications
To operate our company vehicles, you must have a minimum of a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements as well as a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce. Position Summary
The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a unique hybrid role for stores and is intended as a key pipeline for future career-growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. This role is primarily responsible for serving the customer through assessing needs, recommending appropriate products and/or services, performing entry-level vehicle services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through thorough and timely completion of services.
Successful individuals in this role will learn all aspects of store operations and effectively flex between interacting/ serving the customer and efficiently completing basic vehicle service tasks as required.

Responsibilities
Hybrid Role
* Customer service, sales, customer issue resolution- 75%.

* May assist Manager or act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances or to support development.
