Job Summary:
Level 1 Cable Technician is a training or entry level position within the organization. Technician will aid and perform entry level tasks related to company functions; it requires low level to no proficiency of activities. Technicians will work at SGT and customer locations at the direction of their superiors and can advance to higher levels through advanced certifications and job knowledge. This is a 100% travel position.

Job Summary

Responsibilities:
Ensuring continued excellent operation of Budderfly HVAC Units within your geographic area. This includes maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment.
Identifying maintenance risks on HVAC/R equipment.
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC/R systems.
Completing commissioning checks of HVAC Units to ensure continued, efficient operation. This includes checking and correcting of HVAC RTU controller configurations in addition to the mechanical operation of the units.
Providing physical maintenance to Budderfly HVAC Units. This includes, but is not limited to changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting/replacing belts, and inspecting units for other mechanical failures.
Responding to Emergency Service Calls on nights and weekends (when on-call)
Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Keeping daily logs and records of all functions in Company work order system.
Ensuring compliance with applicable State and Federal standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Assisting with customers' queries.

LFG Specialties is an original equipment manufacturer and has been servicing the solid waste industry (i.e., landfills) since 1987, providing custom fabricated compliance equipment (i.e., landfill gas extraction and compression systems, flares, and evaporation systems for the treatment of landfill leachate), service, and parts. These modular systems are designed, fabricated, and tested at APTIM's Findlay, OH campus, which consists of over 45,000 sq. ft. of fabrication and assembly shop area. These systems serve to minimize fugitive landfill gas emissions and reduce leachate volumes to maintain compliance with the EPA guidelines for MSW landfills and mitigate the release of Greenhouse Gases that deteriorate the ozone.
We are one of the leading providers of equipment to the landfill gas industry. We design and fabricate gas flaring, drying, compression and evaporation equipment. We currently have multiple openings for experienced Service Technicians to engage in the maintenance, repair, and startup of our equipment at customer sites. Weekly travel is required. Reporting into an office is not required.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Travel to and from client sites in a multi-state region, typically 3-4 days each week.
Work with senior technicians for first year during training.
Modify, assess, and repair electrical control and power systems (480VAC to signal wiring).

Pearce Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Traveling HVAC Installer Technician to join our team installing, servicing, and repairing commercial HVAC units on cell phone towers. This is a fast-paced and challenging job that is best suited for individuals who are self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. his is a travel position - 80% travel is required for up to three weeks at a time. Candidates should reside in City, State area.
Core Responsibilities
Installing and replacing components of entire systems of commercial cooling systems on cell tower cooling units
Timely and accurate completion of daily reports
Driving to remote work sites as needed
Performing upgrades on out-of-season equipment
Conducting performance checks as required
Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.
Core Experience
1 or more years experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred)
1 or more year of Construction experience will be considered in lieu of HVAC experience
Experience with wall-mounted MarvAir, Bard, and MarvAir DAC/WAC direct air-cooling units highly preferred
Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems
Physical/Work Environment

Candidates should reside in the City, State area.
Travel to remote work sites as needed. 80% Travel Required. Three weeks of travel are required at a time. A per diem of will be provided when traveling.
Ability to operate a phone, computer, and/or tablet
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Must have the ability to inspect and/or troubleshoot equipment/alarms effectively, both visually and audibly
Must have the ability to be on call and travel for work when needed, especially during busy summer months
May need to pass DOT physical
Compensation: $18.00-$25.00 hourly/DOE

The Job at a Glance
As an Inside Service Technician (also known as a Tech Wizard), you will directly communicate with end users and field technicians to provide technical support over the phone and/or via email to assist in repairs on warranty and non-warranty cold side foodservice equipment! After completing the onboarding process, you will also have an opportunity to earn all Commercial Food Service Equipment Service Association (CFESA) certifications.
A Typical Day
Provide exceptional customer service, effectively communicating equipment information and troubleshooting solutions in a friendly and professional manner
Provide technical support to end users and field technicians over the phone and/or via email (30+ cases per day)
Utilize equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
Maintain all customer call information into a company database to better assist future inquiries
Work closely with manufacturers to recommend engineering changes and document equipment/component failure rates
To Land This Opportunity
You have experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC (or relevant training/schooling)
You're an all-star communicator and are proficient in English (both written and verbal)
You have a quality, high speed internet connection at home
You're confident using a computer and navigating programs such as MS Word & Outlook
You're passionate about troubleshooting and finding innovative solutions to difficult problems

Job Description The Remote HVAC Appliance Technician installs, repairs, and maintains industrial and commercial HVAC equipment as well as electric air handling units, exhaust fans, make up air units, pneumatic as well as line, and low voltage controls, various appliances and air compressors. All duties are to be performed in accordance with NMS' mission, vision, and values. Responsibilities * Trouble shoots and repairs, as dictated by sound business practices, industrial HVAC equipment, pneumatic control systems, line and low voltage control systems, residential style fuel burning and electric furnaces, unit heaters, kitchen exhaust systems, various appliances, air compressors and other general service areas. * Repairs and maintains all the heating, air handling systems and A/C units. * Interprets preventative maintenance schedules and carries them through the steps needed for completion as noted on computer generated general maintenance/repair work orders. * Trouble shoots and repair large tonnage cooling equipment used in controlled environment such as labs or computer and control areas. * Diagnose and repair pneumatic systems related to building climate controls. * Lays out the installation of structural and functional components and installs them as required. Fastens parts together to assemble structural and functional components such as motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring harnesses, valves, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes. * Cuts, threads, and connects pipe to functional components and water or power system on premises. * Pumps specified gas or fluid into system. Starts system, observes operation, read gauges and instruments, and adjusts mechanisms such as valves, controls, and pumps to control level of fluid, pressure, and temperature in system. * Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components. Replaces or adjusts defective or worn parts to repair systems. * Tests and repairs various systems and equipment using meters, schematics, drawings and manuals. * Install wiring to connect components to electric power source. * Attends daily safety toolbox meetings and is required to do job safety evaluations for each job. * Notify supervisor if safety and sanitation standards are not being met. * This position has no supervisory responsibilities. * Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success also may be assigned. Qualifications *
High school diploma or GED equivalent. * Technician must have EPA Universal certification to work on refrigerant systems. * Five (5) years' experience working in a commercial and/or industrial setting. *
HVAC hands on repair and troubleshooting proficiency in the commercial and industrial settings is required. * Perform routine calibration and troubleshooting of pneumatic and electrical line and low voltage thermostats and controllers, routine change of filters. * Trouble shoot and diagnosis of airflow problems, monitor glycol pressures and levels. * Periodic inspection and monitoring of air conditioning coils to ensure proper airflows and heat rejection. * Augmentation of filter changes as required, inspect coil conditions for organic debris and soils. * Ensure compliance with EPA. * Use the Annual Preventative Air Conditioning Maintenance checklists/job plan provided or by manufacturers specifications. * Knowledge and ability to perform maintenance on various types of heating systems is required. * Basic knowledge of low to high voltage, 3 phase wiring principles and how to read a schematic. * The ability to write detailed, descriptive reports on HVAC equipment and required repairs. CFC reports required by the client, etc. * A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy. * Must pass all pre-employment contract requirements which may include but are not limited to: drug test, physical and fit for duty assessment and hearing test. Applicants not located near a testing facility are responsible for paying for travel to the nearest testing facility. * Able to work independently and prioritize workload. * Must be able to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers and clients. * Must be able to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision. * Must be able to be on your feet for 12 hours per shift for the scheduled rotation. * Must be able to live in dormitory style settings and meet cleanliness requirements of the remote camp. * Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English. * Must meet and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the company and client. CANDIDATES RESIDING OUTSIDE ANCHORAGE AREA: Candidates residing in Alaska & the Lower 48 for any contract: For the purposes of pre-employment testing, Anchorage will be considered the point of hire (with the exception of drug testing, which will be conducted near the candidate's place of residence). Employee is responsible for any travel expenses and needed accommodations related to pre−employment tasks that need to be completed in Anchorage, AK. Repeat alternate kneeling sequence x 10 for each knee, self-pace but continuous. * Stairs: Climb up and down 12 steps x 5 for a total of 60 steps; * Allow 30 second rest after climbing up and down each set of 30 steps. * Stairs & Carry: Climb up and down 12 steps x 2 for a total of 24 steps while carrying 40 lbs. in one hand and using the other hand to grasp a railing for safety, self-paced but continuous. * Allow a 30 second rest period after climbing up and down 12 steps while carrying. * Slanted Ladder: Climb a slanted ladder with 8 rungs x 8 repetitions for a total of 64 rungs; * Allow 30 second rests after each climb (up and down) of 16 rungs, self-paced. * Shovel: Perform a shovel test for three (3) minutes self-paced but continuous (i.e., no breaks) using a standard snow shovel with a 3 lb. weight attached to the shovel blade.
