The Role
As a Streaming Services Technician you will be responsible for the management and support of multiple live event video delivery through various platforms within a Managed Services environment. The Streaming Services Technician will work with various internal and external teams to ensure timely availability of event resources and to drive resolutions while documenting procedural flows and practices around managed product offerings. The technician will be the primary point of contact for all events assigned by management or team leads, as well as incidents that are generated through monitoring or escalations. The position is subject to shift work and a candidate would be expected to move to different shift hours as needed. The candidate will be expected to interact with customers, partners, peers, and management via phone, IM, video, and email to ensure customer issues are resolved and documented.
Must be available to work between 5:00 PM EST through 3:00 AM EST Tuesday through Saturday every week. Must have Internet Speeds of at least 200 Mbps to handle tools and live streaming platforms in real time.

Required Skills and Professional Experience
High School Diploma/GED or Bachelor's degree and/or military experience.
2 year degree in a computer related field is preferred
Minimum of 1+ years of experience working in Technical Operations Center, Network Operations Center, Managed Services, IT professional services, or call center environment.
Experience with live broadcast feeds preferred
1+ year work or education experience maintaining, utilizing, and troubleshooting Broadcast or Content Delivery Networks, Cisco IOS and/or AWS Media Components.
1+ year work or education experience utilizing a ticketing system such as Remedy, ServiceNow.
1+ year in networking using command line/terminal interfaces.
1+ years of experience working in a service desk environment.

Location: Remote (US-based, with frequent travel)

About the Role
GlacierGrid is looking for a hands-on HVAC/R Technician to lead hardware installations, support product development, and scale our national technician network. In this role, you'll install smart monitoring hardware at quick-service restaurants (QSRs), convenience stores, and similar commercial locations across the U.S. Expect to travel up to 75% of the time each month. You'll also collaborate closely with our Engineering, Product, and Customer teams to troubleshoot field challenges and help evolve our technology offerings.
What You'll Do
Install GlacierGrid hardware on commercial HVAC/R systems at QSRs, convenience stores, and similar locations
Travel to installation sites across the U.S. (approximately 75% travel required monthly)
Set up and configure IoT connectivity solutions (e.g., WiFi networks, gateways)
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during or after installs
Contribute to R&D efforts by providing field insights and feedback
Vet, train, and support a national network of third-party technicians

This role is a key player among the impactful team in IL which is tasked with ensuring that these units continue to operate at the utmost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring continued excellent operation of Budderfly HVAC Units within your geographic area. This includes maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC/R systems.
• Completing commissioning checks of HVAC Units to ensure continued, efficient operation. This includes checking and correcting of HVAC RTU controller configurations in addition to the mechanical operation of the units.
• Providing physical maintenance to Budderfly HVAC Units. This includes, but is not limited to: changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting/replacing belts, and inspecting units for other mechanical failures.
• Responding to Emergency Service Calls on nights and weekends (when on-call-once week/month)
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all functions in Company work order system.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable State and Federal standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
• Assisting with customers' queries.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
To monitor, maintain, repair and carry out the preventive maintenance program on the hotel's heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment. To maintain the guestrooms, public space and back of the house areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and masonry to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES:
Respond to customer calls and complaints to correct temperature conditions in a positive, polite and timely manner. Monitor public space temperatures, making appropriate adjustments when necessary and start/stop fans as required. Interact with the Operating Engineer and assist in start-up, shut down and operation of all HVAC equipment. Visually inspect gauges, dials and mechanical equipment, make basic mathematical calculations, and move and climb on all types of uneven surfaces. Must lift objects weighing up to 100 lbs. to waist height, work in extreme hot, cold and wet conditions; grasp and manipulate tools and materials, and have excellent finger dexterity. Works with refrigerants, oils, solvents and chemicals.
Perform scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on all heating, ventilation, air conditioning and related equipment. Identify and troubleshoot problems, make repairs as follows: replace mechanical seals, re-pack pumps and valves, replace bearings and belts and check for proper alignment, repair fan coil units, make minor sheet metal repairs, braze and solder, calibrate controls, work on pressure vessels, replace piping and fittings and maintain appropriate records of preventive maintenance and repairs.
Inspect guestrooms, public space and back of the house areas to repair, touch up or replace light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall covering, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous repairs. This requires the individual to visually inspect and detect items needing repair and requires a considerable knowledge of a wide variety of maintenance trades. Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical experience is used frequently on the job. Performing these duties requires experience in using basic hand and power tools and the ability to stoop, kneel, grasp, lift, push and pull weights up to 80 lbs, climb ladders up to 30 feet high and reach in all directions, often times overhead.
Detailed record keeping in English is required for logs and inspection sheets.
Assist with requests to shut off steam, water and gas supplies.

HVAC hands on repair and troubleshooting proficiency in the commercial and industrial settings is required. * Perform routine calibration and troubleshooting of pneumatic and electrical line and low voltage thermostats and controllers, routine change of filters. * Trouble shoot and diagnosis of airflow problems, monitor glycol pressures and levels. * Periodic inspection and monitoring of air conditioning coils to ensure proper airflows and heat rejection. * Augmentation of filter changes as required, inspect coil conditions for organic debris and soils. * Ensure compliance with EPA. * Use the Annual Preventative Air Conditioning Maintenance checklists/job plan provided or by manufacturers specifications. * Knowledge and ability to perform maintenance on various types of heating systems is required. * Basic knowledge of low to high voltage, 3 phase wiring principles and how to read a schematic. * The ability to write detailed, descriptive reports on HVAC equipment and required repairs. National Power seeking for a dependable, detail-oriented AC Technician/Electrician to join our team in our southeastern U.S. region. Under the general direction of and reporting to the Electrical Field Manager, the Electrician will primarily be responsible for performing lead electrical work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment for National Power customers. The successful candidate will have the ability to independently assess the needs of a job based on schematics or blueprints but may also carry out assignments based on written and oral instructions.

Update project records and prepare relevant documents and reports
