The HVAC systems that you will service include RTU's, package units, split systems, mini-splits, wall-mounts, and other common HVAC or refrigeration systems primarily at commercial and some industrial settings. With a robust client base in Texas, we are expanding our team and seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HVAC Controls Technician. We are seeking a Building Automation Service Technician who has experience installing, troubleshooting & servicing of DDC Building Automation Systems. Minimum 3 years of related experience required. IP networking knowledge as well as various field-level communication system knowledge is required. Knowledge Tridium AX/N4 necessary and other brand system experience preferred.
Technician Duties:
· Diagnose and repair complex direct digital control system malfunctions requiring thorough knowledge of mechanical systems and electronic theory, as well as the ability to create & modify program algorithms for multiple systems.
· Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
· Candidate must be able to coordinate time and tasks effectively with assistance from the project coordinator.
· Maintain detailed service report notes.
· Create control algorithms, download source code to controllers, manage system databases, and implement an animated front-end graphical user interface when required.
· Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
· Perform service repairs, adjustments and calibration on building systems.
· Coordinate and perform customer training and ensure timely completion of project closeout documents.
· Provide technical support and direction to end-users and employees when applicable.
