Facilities Support Technician IV Responsibilities Include:
Vehicle and Fleet: the Technician will assist with ensuring all fleet vehicles and vessels are maintained in such a manner that they are ready to be deployed at any time. This includes monthly service inspections, providing recommendations for fleet improvement, and proper record keeping providing a useful service log.
Carpentry: Constructs, alters, modifies or repairs a wide range of features in buildings and other facilities including construction of storage areas, work rooms, and offices with existing buildings including framework, rafters, joist, insulation, sheet rock, paneling, doors, windows, and flooring. Build small structures and replaces deteriorated sections of existing structures.
Grounds Maintenance and building maintenance. This involves lawn cutting using hand, power, or riding equipment. Trimming and edging around walks, flower beds, and walls. Landscaping by planting native flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes. Appling herbicides to rid grounds of unwanted weeds and grasses.
Performing routine building maintenance duties such as applying plaster, fixing fountains, pressure washing, and other duties.
Performing minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping.
Operate various power and hand tools such as portable drills, clippers, joiners, shapers, sanders, nail gun, combustion saws, routers, band and scroll saws, drill presses, tractor, forklift, etc.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Facilities Support Technician IV Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
High School Diploma required.
Requires 2-3 years of combined technical education, training, and/or hands-on experience in fleet vehicle maintenance, carpentry, groundskeeping, and general building maintenance, including the use of power and hand tools.
Skills required to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment such as fleet vehicles, power tools (e.g., drills, saws, sanders, nail guns), landscaping machinery (e.g., lawn mowers, trimmers, pressure washers), and general maintenance tools (e.g., forklifts, tractors, and hand tools).

Specific Responsibilities:
Delivers, maintains, installs, and services Martin products as assigned, following standard work instructions while demonstrating safe and efficient work habits. Installation of Martin products is required and must be performed as efficiently and safely as possible.
Communicates project status to supervisor, fellow workers, and customers continuously.
Completes work individually and expeditiously to complete assigned projects, including maintenance agreements in assigned territories as required.
Provides daily sales transactions and documents.
Follows assigned routes and schedules as provided.
Ensures the warehouse and vehicle are always appropriately stocked, cleaned, and maintained with inventory. Must complete weekly cycle counts of warehouse and vehicles with Martin equipment inventory assigned to employee.
Operates vehicle safely, following all traffic laws and obeying Martin's Fleet Policy. Adheres to all DOT policies and regulations.
Will be required to produce quotes and reports for Martin customers for all conveyor products that will be serviced in the field. Additional reports may be required.
Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows all safety regulations related to the working conditions. Inspects work assignments and work areas wholly and periodically. This will include supervising all subcontractors.
Recommends service route & process improvements to the team.
Conducts training for assigned employees to ensure the necessary quality, safety, operational, and technical skill requirements. Ensures that customer safety rules are followed and applied daily. Complies with OSHA/MSHA requirements regarding safety issues, use of safety equipment, and material safety data sheets.
Education, Experience & Training:
High school diploma or equivalent. Two-year technical or vocational degree preferred.
A strong mechanical or conveyor maintenance background would be beneficial, or one or more years of job-related experience.

AES, LLC is an authorized warranty service center for many types and brands of equipment. Service Technicians must be able to use training and tools provided by AES and its vendor partners to properly diagnose and repair such equipment. He must also be able to train users in the proper use of the equipment. Service Technicians use the relationship to create sales opportunities for new equipment. In addition, Service Technicians are responsible for collections on services and products they sell.
It is expected that a Service Technician will be able to perform an average of 2 to 3 service calls per day. A minimum average of 1 service call per day will qualify the Service Technician for a base salary of $150 per day. This base will serve as a Draw against commission, meaning that any commission earned in excess of the the base pay will be paid on collected sales. Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required
Ford Certification
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
