Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with all company safety policies and procedures. Oversee all aspects of HVAC projects, including design, installation, and maintenance. Conduct regular meetings to provide updates and address any issues or concerns. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project workflow. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in HVAC. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to help foster a long-term partnership. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent (Required). 5+ years of experience in HVAC installation. (Required) Class A HVAC License through TDLR. (Required). EPA Universal Certification. Experience installing high-efficiency or smart HVAC Systems. Experience with HVAC field service management software is a plus (i.e., ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, or similar). Working knowledge of electrical systems, appliances, plumbing, carpentry, plastering, drywall repair, painting, and HVAC Ability to operate small hand tools and power tools. Ability to use voltmeters, am probes, hand saws, skill saws, Freon recovery machine, Freon gauges, drill motors, and cutting tools. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Equipment Requirements Required to wear back support belt, wear goggles when working with specific equipment, wear masks and gloves and other personal protective safety equipment as tasks dictate. Follow all OSHA regulations. Work Hours Minimum of 40 hours per week. On-Call and weekends as circumstances warrant for emergencies. Your Day-to-Day: Perform diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations of residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems Identify issues accurately and present professional solutions to customers Generate and close sales opportunities for repairs, upgrades, and system replacements Train and mentor junior technicians Complete all job documentation accurately and promptly Participate in on-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and after-hours service Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and uphold company standards Our Ideal Lead HVAC Technician: EPA certification (Type II or Universal) 5+ years of field experience in residential HVAC service and repair Proven sales ability with excellent communication and customer service skills Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting expertise Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work on-call rotation, including weekends The Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Evening, weekend, and on-call work as needed Employees report to a central location before heading to service calls Having a Texas HVAC license or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
