Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Facility Technician to join our Airport Operations team at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport. Reporting to the Director of Airport Operations, the Facility Technician plays a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the functionality of all FBO and airport facilities by ensuring the reliability and safety of building systems, mechanical equipment, and utility infrastructure. Responsibilities include inspection, maintenance, repair, and modification of facilities, oversight of janitorial services, and timely resolution of work orders to support FBO operations, airport management, and tenant needs.
Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance and Repairs:
Perform minor repairs on buildings, systems, and equipment; supervise vendor repairs for major systems.
Conduct routine building inspections and maintain required documentation.
Execute preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment (e.g., belts, filters, bearings, seals) and make repairs or replacements as needed.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing fixtures, electrical circuits, and control systems.
Perform basic carpentry, masonry, and flooring repairs; replace ceiling and floor tiles as needed.
Maintain and repair commercial laundry and kitchen appliances.
Systems and Equipment Management:
Monitor, operate, and maintain HVAC and critical systems equipment.
Utilize Building Automation Systems (BAS) and computer-controlled systems for mechanical and utility operations.
Ensure proper upkeep of company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Vendor and Contractor Oversight:
Supervise service contractors and ensure compliance with maintenance standards.
Manage janitorial agreements to maintain cleanliness and tenant satisfaction.
Safety, Security, and Emergency Response:
Act as first responder for technical and facility-related issues.
Promote safety and security for associates and visitors; report security concerns promptly.
Respond to after-hours building and site emergencies as required.
Administrative and Operational Support:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules and completed work.
Participate in decision-making impacting operational credibility and service quality.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 5-10 years of direct prior experience in building operations.
Previous experience working with Building Automation Systems required.
Project management experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and lift/move up to 100 pounds.
Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and depth perception.

* Diagnose and repair problems within the following HVAC/R equipment systems: Heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems and associated equipment such as VRF systems, multi-zone units, electrical controls, pneumatic controls, steam coils, chilled water systems, self-contained heating and cooling units, exhaust systems, pumps, air compressors, ductwork, cooling towers and other miscellaneous equipment.

Troubleshot and perform routine maintenance on heat exchangers.
Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on equipment actuators and other automatic control valves.
Know and understand low water and high-water cut-off safeties for boilers.
Demonstrate the ability to operate deaerator systems for steam applications.
Demonstrate understanding of 3-way valves, bi-pass valves, isolation valves.
Demonstrate the ability to blow down boilers and cooling towers each day.
Demonstrate the capability to setup chain fall systems to change strainers for chillers and condenser water pumps.
Be able to operate confidently aerial platforms and forklifts.
This includes hanging diapers or tracing the different type of pipes throughout the facility.
Some brazing/soldering experience for preferred applications
Knowledge of DDC and building automation systems.
Be able to replace different types of pipes, example, copper, cast iron, stainless steel.
Clean-up and organize mechanical rooms, mezzanine, physical plants, and work shops.
Provide access for contractors from time to time.
Adress roof leaks, sprinkler, water leaks.
Makes regular patrols through mechanical rooms to record condition and operation of equipment to ensure its being scheduled into preventative program before failure.
Participate in the operation, maintenance and repair of facility equipment, minor electrical, lighting, commercial kitchen and plumbing repairs to expedite the return of equipment or auxiliary systems to operational status
Complete minor plumbing task for event related activity.
Track daily productivity via timesheets, daily logs and CMMS.
Communicate arrival, location and departure with HVAC/Plumbing Manager.
Perform event related duties, set-ups and coverage as assigned.
Clearly, effectively, and timely communicate work issues with staff.
Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients.
Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician as we grow our business. In addition to providing startup and warranty support to our construction group, this technician will also support our end-user clients through scheduled maintenance, equipment repair, and equipment replacement projects.
Work start and end time: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday to Friday (weekends, overtime, and evenings on occasion)
Primary Job Functions:
Performs electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure peak performance
Perform specific scheduled maintenance tasks per the scope of work. Including documenting the equipment's operational data with a designed log.
Uses experience and technical skills in system operations to determine service requirements
Ability to interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location, and operation of the system(s)
Represents the company in a positive manner to other trades, contractors, and owners
Advise the customer of any system issues found. Communicates within our department to provide corrective actions to be taken
Suggest solutions beyond repairs that are beneficial to the customer
Works in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction
Submits required paperwork in a timely manner
