Commercial HVAC Service Technician
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for Servicing, troubleshooting, and cleaning heating and cooling equipment and the related (i.e., forced air, hydronic, split systems, package units, make up air and exhaust systems, controls). You will also be responsible for new installations including pump alignment, VFD, chillers, boilers, AHUs, and other HVAC related equipment.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
Build strong customer relationships with new and existing customers.
Work as liaison between engineers and owners' representatives during commissioning efforts while protecting Company's interest.
Provides preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
Troubleshoots units that are not working and replaces parts that are defective.
Repairs refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, control systems, and humidity and temperature control systems.
Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment.
Provides startups and troubleshooting for a variety of commercial HVAC systems, meets with customers, evaluates their needs, and makes recommendations.
Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairing of commercial/ industrial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems.
Performs related work as assigned.
Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.
Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service manuals, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance service.
Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
Assist in the new construction installation of HVAC equipment and piping.
Keeps current all manufacturers' products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
Apply local HVAC codes in a practical manner on each job.
Work with inspectors, suppliers, and co-worker technicians to ensure correct project work while abiding by all codes.
Provide excellent customer service.
Education:
High school diploma/GED.
Experience:
Willing to be registered through the local union.
5 years' service experience specific to Commercial and Industrial HVAC.
Experience with chillers and boilers a plus
Valid Driver's License.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
Knowledge of basic electricity and electrical and control systems.
Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative in servicing customers and maintaining positive customer relations.
Successful completion of a Apprenticeship Program.
Chiller experience helpful.
Physical and/or travel demands:
Must have the necessary physical stamina; to include, but not limited to, long-term overhead HVAC work.
Must be able to work for extended hours or workdays.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Resort Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 to join our dynamic Resort Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the resort's facilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. This position offers a variety of responsibilities, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and responding to guest requests with efficiency and professionalism.
As the Resort Facilities Maintenance Technician 1, you will:
* Execute engineering projects as assigned by resort leadership, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
* Perform preventive maintenance tasks to maintain the optimal functionality of resort facilities and equipment.
* Complete basic maintenance tasks, including painting, caulking, and repairing wall damage.
* Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues related to toilets, tubs, jacuzzis, showers, faucets, and sinks.
* Reset circuit breakers and GFCIs, replace bulbs, and measure voltage using appropriate tools.
* Install, replace, and troubleshoot TVs, remotes, and other electronics to ensure proper operation.
* Diagnose and repair appliances, replace minor components, and assist with full appliance replacements as necessary.
* Actively engage in procurement and inventory management to ensure that materials and tools are always available.
* Utilize resort operations devices and software (e.g., HotSOS) efficiently for reporting and communication.

* Take on additional tasks as assigned by management to enhance the overall guest experience and resort operations.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 1 year of hands-on trades & maintenance experience in a resort or commercial environment.

What you will do
Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.
Responsible for contacting customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems.
Diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products at customer sites.
Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. to repair equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals.
Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with the district staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as smart phones and laptop computers.
Obtain customer signature upon completed service call assignment.
Participate in a scheduled On-call rotation. Help to train or mentor others on the service team.
Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service
