What You'll Do Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair chiller systems (industrial, commercial, hospital) Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance Respond to emergency calls on a rotating on-call schedule (1 day every 5-6 days) Work independently in the field, coordinating with the Chiller Team Lead Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate findings to clients and supervisors Daily Breakdown Troubleshooting & Repairs: 50% Preventative Maintenance: 40% Emergency Calls & On-Call Response: 10% What We're Looking For (Must Haves) Local 533 Union membership Completion of the Local 533 apprenticeship (or equivalent experience) Solid troubleshooting and repair skills for large tonnage chillers Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety Nice to Have Experience with a mix of service & install (most of our work is service) Exposure to industrial, commercial, and healthcare facilities Pay & Benefits Pay: Over scale Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM + on-call rotation Truck & Fuel Card: Provided for work use PTO & Benefits: Competitive benefits package Stability: Low turnover; most techs stay long-term Advancement: Opportunity to move into Lead Chiller Technician role Why Join Us?
