Position Overview:
We are currently seeking skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technicians with a minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience. The Commercial Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems utilizing their knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatics and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding/brazing and mechanical layouts. Technician will perform services on US ARMY Reserve sites throughout Mississippi. Overnight Travel is required for this position. Company vehicle will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Primary focus on chiller and boiler plants
Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects
Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems
Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostics, replacement, and modifications as needed
Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
Keeps current all manufacturers' products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair
Provides technical support to management
Flexibility to work on other assigned tasks as required, such as kitchen equipment refrigerators/freezers, minor plumbing, minor electrical, etc.
Requirements:
5+ years of service experience
HVAC trade school certification or apprenticeship program or an acceptable equivalent
Valid driver's license with clean drivers record
Must be able to pass Federal background Check and 10 Panel Pre-Employment Drug Screening
EPA Approved Universal Technician Certification
Low Voltage Electrical Certification preferred

Summary of Responsibility:
The Preventative Maintenance Technician will have a basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to optimally provide scheduled maintenance of CNC production equipment through the use of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. Duties include but are not limited to.
What You Will Contribute:
Daily travel from home to Customer facilities with occasional overnight hotel stays required when servicing remote Customer locations within the designated coverage territory or when participating in remote training programs.
Using machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine parts and service.
Staying in sync with safety laws and maintaining a clean, orderly work area.
Promoting and performing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and conducting maintenance training to customer employees.
Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.
Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines.

Qualifications & Competencies:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current Valid Class D License in good standing
3 -5 years of validated experience within the manufacturing industry. Maintenance & repair and/or a broad shop background - is a plus.
Attention to detail with a technical curiosity and strong problem-solving skills.
Proficient in English verbal and written communication
Basic digital literacy and solid understanding of MS Office, Word and Outlook and other business programs.
Optimally communicate in person and over the phone with customer and co-workers applying customer relation skills.
Must be adaptable to changes and able to take care of change, delays, or general work-related issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes assigned residential and/or multi-dwelling unit cable television, high speed data, and/or telephone installations, reconnects, disconnects, and/or changes of services to exact client specifications.
Installs modem, converters and related hardware.
Installs drops, grounds, outlets, converters, telephone services and other cable devices.
Checks customer television reception and properly tunes television set on cable installations. Checks computer functions and internet connections on HSD installations. Checks telephone connections on telephone installations.

Follows installation specifications and procedures as outlined by the cable company and supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to lift, carry and climb eighty pound 28 foot extension ladders, which are rated at a capacity of 300 lbs.
Must be able to work year round outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Must be able to routinely stoop, kneel, crouch, bend or crawl and work in attics, basements and crawl spaces on a regular basis.
Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record. Must be able to work routine overtime.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management, technical personnel, service/dispatch personnel, other contractors, and the general public.
Good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Position Overview:

Installs glass in windows, doors, and partitions; replaces damaged ceiling tile, floor tile, and sheet plastic wall coverings.
