WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Dispatch Center Operators are responsible for a variety of tasks including dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls, logging downtime and department activity, computing park attendance information, answering park phone lines, issuing keys, radios, and badges, as well as other duties. The Operator must be able to answer multiple phone lines and monitor and dispatch information on all park radio channels.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
Following proper operating procedures.
Managing all park radio channels.
Dispatching park personnel to various calls.
Answering multiple phone lines.
Maintaining a professional environment by enforcing strict radio policies.
Logging ride downtime and security activity into appropriate databases.
Completing hourly attendance tracking.
Dispatching emergency situations in a calm, professional manner.
Ensuring Guest First Standards are followed and enforced.

Security Officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, team members, and company assets. Unarmed Security Officers carry and may utilize non-lethal weapons and defensive equipment which requires completion of company training, qualifications and passing all related examinations.

Patrol and monitor all areas of the property, including exterior areas, on foot, bicycle, or in a company vehicle.
Monitor alarm systems, surveillance cameras, access control systems and other security equipment.
Deliver excellent guest service, responding to questions, complaints, and/or conflicts in a professional manner.
Respond to physical threats. altercations, or aggressive behavior.
When necessary, engage in self-defense, and defensive tactics (including take downs, handcuffing, restraining, or subduing an assailant).
Utilize de-escalation and conflict resolution techniques to minimize the need for force.
Act as a first responder during emergencies (medical, fire, criminal, natural disasters).
Perform gaming drops and transactions, including carrying and transporting drop boxes and chip carriers. (min weight approx. 3 lbs to max weight 50 lbs)
Write detailed and accurate incident reports on accidents, property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences.
Serve as dispatcher to relay information, messages, or emergencies by phone or radio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Provides general public safety services for the protection of tribal members, tribal property, guests, and employees.

* Maintain and update all hazardous locations in CAD system; keep abreast of premise history for responding units.

What you'll do: The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that transportation operates smoothly and efficiently. The Dispatch Supervisor oversees tasks that range from coordinating delivery schedules to managing driver pick up routes and ensuring compliance of various safety and DOT regulations. Collaborates with food sourcing, warehouse, donors when directing drivers to ensure effective execution of grocery rescue and donation pick-ups to maximize food resources for the organization.

Collaborates with community impact team, agency partners and operations team when directing drivers throughout the delivery process.

Ensures adherence to and execution of established food bank safety policies and procedures, OSHA, Fleet Safety DOT Program, ensuring the number one priority is safety when operating any equipment at SHFB.

Collaborates with the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator and Transportation Specialist to achieve DOT maintenance and document compliance on all equipment at SHFB.
Partners with transportation specialist and others within the organization to effectively gather and report transportation related performance and cost data

Communicates insights and opportunities to Director of Transportation.

Acts as the link between the Security Department, general public, Team Members and public safety agencies. Responsible for receiving, dispatching, and logging all request for security assistance and monitoring radio's, alarms, and outside camera in order to detect crimes or disturbances, protecting Tribal assets, and providing a safe environment for guests and team members.
CORE SCOPE OF POSITION
* Screens incoming telephone calls for requests for Police, Fire, and Medical Emergency Service assistance as well as for non-emergency, administrative and Enterprise business requests; directs incoming calls to the proper officers/units.
* Receives and dispatches requests for services from outside public safety agencies, Tribal Government and Tribal Government departments, San Diego County Animal Control, vendors, contractors, towing services, and locksmiths.
* Receives all calls for medical assistance from Team Members or members of the community, processing such calls for nature and severity of medical emergency.
* Coordinates and dispatches appropriate medical resources, relaying pertinent medical information on the patient to responding personnel.
* Provides pre-arrival instructions in accordance with policy to ensure safety of patients, bystanders, and responding personnel.
* Monitors emergency radios for traffic directed to the Communications Center.
* Dispatches calls for service to proper officers/units and assists units in handling the requests.
* Using a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, monitors and updates officer/unit location and status, prioritizes calls for service, and monitors pending calls.
* Maintains gasoline usage/mileage log.
* Logs all criminal history and driver's history as requested.
* Monitors bank, cage or other intrusion alarms located in the Communications Center, and notifies proper units, including bank or other personnel, of any alarm activation or other problems.
* Observes the exterior premises of the casino and parking lots on closed circuit television monitors in order to detect crimes or disturbances, protects Tribal assets, and assists in ensuring the safety and welfare of guests and team members.
* Assists guests and the general public at the front counter with general inquiries, and lost and found property.
* Learns and maintains knowledge of officer policy and procedures; the methods of handling difficult public contacts; the operation of telephone console and/or central communications equipment; rescue and emergency response procedures; Federal, state, and local laws and ordinances; terminology and jurisdictional boundaries; and available types of emergency services.
* Learns and maintains knowledge of the general geography of the Casino, Outlet Center, and Reservation, including but not limited to Reservation boundaries, surrounding jurisdictions, street numbering system and primary highways and roads.
* Learns and maintains knowledge of the radio codes and signals in the Viejas Tribal Security and Radio Code Book.
* Learns and maintains knowledge of telephone interview and information gathering techniques in order to insure the rapid and accurate collections and dissemination of required information
