    Aquatic Center Staff/Lifeguard - Adult Additional Information: Show/Hide Full-Time Lifeguard $16.75/hour Description: Provide a safe environment and enforce guidelines established by the facility for patron use and assigned activities. Maintain a high standard of customer service. Responsible for maintaining orderliness by inspecting swimming pool areas, locker rooms, classroom, and offices. Daily monitor and record information regarding pool chemistry. Job Summary: * Overseeing activities at an aquatic facility. * Assisting with swimming lessons. * Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety of patrons. * Maintaining order in swimming areas. * Performing first aid procedures. * Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of all areas. * Maintaining records and reports. * Must maintain a positive and friendly approach with all patrons. * Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. * Performs various jobs as related to daily task list. * Attend In-Service training monthly. * Able to work different shifts as assigned, including evenings and Saturdays. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age * Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written * Proficient in interacting with people of various ages * Able to lift over 50lbs * Must have a current certification in Lifeguarding First Aid/CPR or pass pre-requisite lifeguard testing and course.
