Purpose Performs a wide range of basic landscaping, maintenance and resources management activities in along the Olentangy Greenway Trail as part of the Olentangy Reemployment Plan. The Olentangy Reemployment Plan is an 8 week program in partnership with the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department. Example of Duties Performs a variety of landscaping, maintenance and resource management duties including, but not limited to mowing, invasive species removal, trail maintenance, fertilizing, trimming, mulching, etc. Picks up litter and empties trash receptacles. Performs basic trail maintenance including clearing paths, trimming, and pruning using pruners, shovels, rakes, hand saws, hand axes, etc. Operates basic construction equipment including but not limited to power tools, line trimmers, mowers, chain saws, skid steers, etc. Plant, fertilize, prune, water and transplant trees. Assist in the basic construction and repair of decks, signs, tables, roadways, etc. Paints and stains. Qualifications Education/Experience Must be at least 18 years of age. Due to the temporary nature of these roles, local applicants are preferred. Must successfully complete a backround check. Language Skills Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with coworkers and general public on a daily basis. Team-Oriented Works on a team. Good customer service, communications and interpersonal skills. Attendance Being present at work is an essential function of the position. Full-time Description Primary Purpose: The Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair and up-time of Admar Supply and customer equipment. Essential Functions: Inspect and tag returned rental equipment noting any damage or other necessary repairs. Using information on repair tag, and with input from Service Writer and Service Manager, troubleshoot equipment and make necessary repairs. Make sure equipment is properly repaired on a timely basis. Report problems or issues with repairs to Service Manager. Provide detailed description of problem/issue and recommend solution, both short-term and long term. Ensure all repairs have been fully and properly completed. Perform complete inspection of equipment to make sure no other repairs are needed; safety features are in place and working properly; equipment is clean and decals are readable and unit is rent-ready condition. Complete all required paperwork on a timely basis; thoroughly complete all forms and reports making sure all entries are correct and legible. Work in a safe manner obeying all safety rules; keep shop area clean and organized. Correctly use safety equipment and PPE as required. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts. Job Description Mistras Group is seeking Full time and TEMP Level II PAUT Technicians for work in Heath and Lima OH. Relocation and sign on bonuses available. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for one or all of the following is required: PAUT Prior certification as an UTSW NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or prior certification as Level II per SNT-TC1A standards on all or one (1) of the following is required; Phased Array, UTSW High School graduate or equivalent required. TWIC card as a plus, not required. Valid Driver's License MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES: Set up and calibrate equipment. Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s). Interpret, evaluate and document results. Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I personnel. Must be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the employer. Work with minimal supervision. $100.00 bonus after completion of 60 days. Responsible for professionally buffing, carpet cleaning, window cleaning. Also responsible for cleaning offices, financial institutions, and industrial facilities as needed. 35-40 hours a week, 2nd shift work. (some days and weekends if scheduled in advance) Heavy lifting of equipment up to 100 lbs or more. Paid holidays and vacation time after 1 year of employment. Live in the Fairfield County area. Steel toe boots/shoes are required during some tech work. * Valid driver's license required. * Must have a working cell phone to receive texts, emails, and to make calls.
