The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving Hydrite's industrial chemical growth by aggressively identifying, developing, and closing high‑value new business opportunities. JOB EXPECTATIONS:

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Proven track record of success in business development, outside sales, or commercial roles within industrial chemicals or a related B2B environment.
Bachelor's degree preferred

Ability and willingness to travel extensively to engage prospective customers and support opportunity closure.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit and work at a computer terminal, and/or talk on the telephone up to 4 hours at a time.
Ability to travel to customers and stay overnight when necessary.

The Food Business Development Internship at Hydrite offers an opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in the food industry while exploring both the technical and business sides of food production. Lead and manage Combustible Dust Assessments for the facility as needed to comply with the corporate standard.

Act as Project Leader for new processes (This requires close coordination with all departments at the facility and involves every aspect of the project from raw material procurement, batch sizing/scaling, hazard review, writing operating instructions, etc., all the way through to packaging and shipment of material).
Act as New Product Introduction (NPI) representative for the plant. This system is used for corporate review and approval of new processes and process changes at the plant.
Responsible for maintaining recipes in SAP for facility processes.
Manage the MOC electronic system for changes to chemicals, process technology/new processes, and equipment.
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a degree in a technical field, and 5 years of process experience

The Food Business Development Internship at Hydrite offers an opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in the food industry while exploring both the technical and business sides of food production. Interns will spend time in food and beverage processing facilities learning about sanitation processes, chemical applications, and customer operations, while also engaging in business development activities such as sales support, lead generation, and relationship building.
During this full-time, 10-12 week internship (June-August), you'll spend time both on-site at customer facilities and working alongside Hydrite's business development team
What You'll Do:
Shadow Hydrite professionals at food processing plants to learn how our products and sanitation solutions are used in real-world applications.
Join sales calls and customer visits with Business Development Managers to observe and practice relationship-building and technical selling skills.
Assist with product trials, chemical testing, and troubleshooting at customer facilities.
Support the development of business analysis reports, sales presentations, and lead generation projects.
Learn about Hydrite's product portfolio, customer base, and internal business operations.
Analyze data and make recommendations to improve customer processes.
Participate in local food industry events and trade shows to promote Hydrite's brand and build professional connections.
Some flexibility to work off-shift hours may be required depending on customer schedules.
What We're Looking For:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Food or Dairy Science, Business, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
A proactive, curious, and self-starting attitude with interest in both the science and business of food.

This position is a Processing Line Worker in a Food Processing (Eggs) company. Under the direction of the Processing Supervisor, this position performs various tasks ensuring the highest quality product possible.
Key Responsibilities
Food Safety and Food Quality
Perform all functions of the position with strict adherence to all HACCP, SQF, cGMP's, and regulatory protocols.
Follows food safety principals.
Ensure that products and materials are handled and stored in such a way as to prevent damage or product contamination.
Examine product to verify conformance to quality standards.
Maintain compliance with the personnel and process hygiene requirements.
Operations
Grades and aligns eggs entering the washer section.
Provides for smooth transition of eggs from main egg belt conveyor to the accumulating station.
Keeps area clean, tracks inedible, dumps inedible into auger.
Cleans washer screens.
Performs chemical checks, foam control in washers and works re-wash eggs back into egg flow.
Grades eggs from the washers per SOP.
Provides for smooth transition of eggs from transfer room to breaking machine.
Keeps area clean.
Assists as needed during breaks and clean up.
Grades broken eggs from the breaking machine removing bad or blood spot eggs and shells from cups.
Performs clean up duties meeting USDA standards in Breaking, Transfer, and Shell rooms after production shift has ended.
