You will interact heavily with vendors in purchasing product and problem resolution, managing the replenishment cycle and analyzing its performance. You will: Place and track purchase orders for inventory and non-inventory parts. Create orders consistent with PFEP and provide visibility to exceptions. Manage day-to-day purchasing operations. Negotiate the release of all purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures. Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet production requirements and achieve monthly/annual inventory targets. Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and other data analytical tools. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing is a plus.
