    The Opportunity: The Client Service Specialist is responsible for providing a consistent level of service and support to identified clients and teams, handling or directing daily service needs while interacting in a consultative and collaborative way to deliver a “best in class” client experience resulting in client retention and growth while building long term relationships with our clients, colleagues, and vendor partners. In This Role You Will Execute On: Respond to and appropriately document routine client inquiries; escalate complex inquiries to more senior staff. Process daily service needs such as change requests, endorsements, proofs, audits and other policy related documents. Manage activities and follow-ups to document and accomplish open items in expected timeframe. Review and process policies and endorsements for accuracy of coverage, policy, content, and form completion; address or escalate any discrepancies for resolution. Assist and support new and renewal processes including gathering information, document preparation, binding, marketing, and other needs as directed. Assist with client documentation preparation such as creating branded templates and developing basic content for proposals, stewardship, presentations, etc. Leverage Hylant technology, tools and resources ensuring all internal systems, client portals, and assigned account details are proactively managed and meet client needs. Assist in the research of invoicing and billing questions or issues. Drive completion of Surplus Lines process for non-admitted placements including documentation and invoicing to ensure the Surplus Lines team can manage necessary and accurate state filings. Perform other duties and special projects as requested. In This Role You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, risk management, or similar field of study. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. Two (2) or more years of insurance client service experience. (In some instances no Producer will be assigned and the AE also is primarily responsible for client relationship management.) Ensure Producers, when assigned, are fully informed about and prepared for all client meetings and interfaces so as to be able to competently and proactively manage the client relationship. Establish and maintain strong and productive professional relationships with “C-Level” and other cognizant decision makers for assigned HUB clients. Work with the Producer, if assigned, or be primarily responsible for maintaining current receivable status for assigned clients. Proactive efforts to collect receivables more than 30 days past-due should be undertaken, with each unresolved circumstance documented and reported to accounting. Possess a mastery of the various HUB resources and tools that are available via “HUB Today,” employing same to best serve assigned clients and work with cognizant Producers. Be knowledgeable about and comply with HUB systems, procedures and state/federal insurance regulations. Possess a strong ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, which will include the ability to design and deliver effective group presentations using various media. Oversee the documentation of new or changing Payroll Tax operation workflows and work procedures. Manage special projects required or needed to support ongoing delivery and change management. Job Specifications: Advanced knowledge of payroll tax laws and requirements in the US. Strong tax research and comprehension ability.
