Brian is chief technology officer and co-founder of Hypori, responsible for shaping the company’s technical vision, product direction and delivery. Brian has more than 20 years of experience developing enterprise software technologies deployed by many of the largest, most demanding corporations. Prior to Hypori, Brian was the CTO of BlueSpace Software, which sold secure virtualization in the defense sector. He was also a co-founder of Motive, Inc. (now Alcatel-Lucent), where he served as CTO, and one of the principal architects of Tivoli's TME object-oriented management framework, including its distributed transaction and database components. Brian is a recognized expert in distributed systems management, distributed object technology, networking, nested transactions, and UNIX and Linux operating systems, and holds 21 patents across four different companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin.
