Mr. Alfred Marshall Rankin, Jr., also known as Al, serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of NACCO Industries, Inc. since September 2017 and since prior to 2013 Chairman of NACCO’s principal subsidiary, North American Coal. From prior to 2013 to September 2017 Chairman, President, and CEO of NACCO Industries. He served as the President of NACCO Industries, Inc. since May 1994. Mr. Rankin joined the NACCO Industries in February 1989. He has been the President and Chief Executive Officer at Hamilton Beach/Proctor Silex Inc., NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc., Materials Handling Inc., and The Kitchen Collection Inc., since 1991. He serves as Chief Executive Officer of NACCO Industries, Inc. and President of NACCO Industries, Inc. at Hamilton Beach, Inc. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Housewares Holding Company. He has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. since September 2012. Mr. Rankin served as Chief Operating Officer from April 1986 to February 1989 at Eaton Corporation. He serves as an Advisory Chairman of the Board of Cleveland Museum of Art. In over 45 years of service as a Director and over 25 years in senior management, Mr. Rankin has amassed extensive knowledge of all strategies and operations. He has extensive knowledge of the Company, he also unique insight resulting from his service on the boards of other publicly traded corporations, The Vanguard Group, the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and Goodrich Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Yale University and a Juris Doctor degree from the Yale Law School.

Mr. Salgado became Chief Operating Officer of Hyster-Yale Group in July 2019 and is responsible for performance of the company’s global lift truck business operations and interests across the Americas, EMEA, Asia-Pacific, India, China, and Japan. Mr. Salgado has over 18 years of experience in the materials handling industry, most recently as Senior Vice President, Japan, Asia-Pacific, India and China for Hyster-Yale Group since 2016. Prior to joining the group, Mr. Salgado held the role of Vice President and Corporate Officer of Unicarrers Corporation (formerly Nissan Forklift), and President of the Americas Division. During his 15 years with UniCarriers/Nissan, his experience also included leadership roles in quality, manufacturing, and aftermarket operations, including the role of Vice President, manufacturing operations. During this time, Mr. Salgado was also a member of the Industrial Truck Association Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Additionally, Mr. Salgado previously held positions with GE Appliances and GE Capital in Six Sigma and Quality leadership roles, as well as served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, completing tours as a Surface Warfare Officer aboard the USS Fort McHenry and as the Executive Officer of the US Navy Ceremonial Guard in Washington, DC. Mr. Salgado holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

Mr. Schilling oversees public financial reporting, accounting, tax compliance and strategies, treasury activities and investor relations at Hyster-Yale. Most recently, Mr. Schilling was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hyster-Yale and Hyster-Yale Group, positions he held from September 2012 and October 2008, respectively, to August 2014.
