>Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly
>Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
>Drive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
>Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed
>Install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates
>Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
>Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle's breakdown or damage
>Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks

The salary range for this role is $134,000 to $235,900. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

Staff Product Manager, Energy Storage Cells and Systems
The Role
This is more than a sales role-it's a chance to bridge industries. We're seeking a Product Manager / Analyst to help us delight customers in the energy industry by applying a combination of technical and commercial modeling expertise and applying it to their market fundamentals expertise. You'll be a key part of our commercial and product discussions, ensuring that what we deliver delights our customers.
What You Will Do
Develop, refine, and maintain a value of ownership model that combines technical, commercial, and market inputs
Understand customer technical requirements and quantify their impact on value
Proactively find new ways to apply your modeling expertise to ensure that GM is delighting customers - even in ways they might not expect
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to internal teams to articulate the value proposition of GM's plans
Collaborate with GM's engineering, program, and production teams to advocate for our customers and their interests
Identify how trends and events in the energy industry affect the value proposition of GM's portfolio
Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
4+ years of experience in any combination of the following: energy, product (hardware), business development
Knowledgeable about the fundamentals of the energy industry including project finance
Expertise in how energy markets function; ideally with knowledge on how to model the values of changes system and/or component technical specifications
Proficiency in programming evaluation models (e.g., Python)
Familiarity with energy cell and system design, and how they interact
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate.
The salary range for this role is $117,800 - $205,000. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.

This role is based remotely, but if the selected candidate lives within a specific mile radius of a GM hub, they will be expected to report to the location three times a week {or other frequency dictated by your manager}. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.

The Role
General Motors has a need for qualified Mechanical Journeypersons (Machine Repair) You will work under minimal supervision with a high level of independent judgement and problem solving. You should be flexible enough to take on and tackle multiple job assignments in a shift.
Preferred Experience Includes:
Experience with planned maintenance systems and predictive technologies
Experience with industrial robotics, automation, and conveyance systems
Primary Responsibilities:
Follow established safety procedures according to OSHA standards and company procedures
Maintain, dismantle, repair, and replace mechanical and hydraulic components (e. g. bearings, seals, details, carriers, etc.) on industrial machinery such as shafting, motors, generators, air compressors, engines, pumps, cylinders, gears, couplings, linkages, ball screws, high speed CNC spindles, coolant systems and filters, and combustion equipment and valves
Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems
Use various hand or power tools for measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bending, soldering, assembling, joining, and installing pipes, valves, and fittings
Read and interpret blueprints for the mechanical operation and assembly of conveyor systems, material handling systems, robots, and other automation
Operate mobile equipment (e.g. forklifts, vertical lifts, cranes)
Determine loading requirements to rig equipment and material for lifting
Set up and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to cut, bore, grind, or otherwise shape parts to prescribed dimensions and finishes
Fabricate punches, tools, steel rule tools and t-sets to exact specifications
Plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools or assemblies using blueprints, sketches, or models
Determine quality of finished products, ensuring defect-free parts, by verifying dimensions, alignment, and clearances for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators
Interested individuals must meet the following minimum qualifications:
At least six (6) years of related experience in a Mechanical trade (millwright, pipefitter, toolmaker, machine repair) or a U.S. Department of Labor Certificate of Completion in a Mechanical trade (millwright, pipefitter, toolmaker, machine repair).
Must be able to satisfactorily complete the General Motors hiring process requirements which includes comprehensive assessments, drug testing, and a background check
At least 18 years of age
Eligible to work in the United States
Must be willing to work flexible shift hours and day, afternoon, or night shifts as well as overtime hours daily, weekend and holidays on those shifts with little notice

General Motors UAW hourly employment offers a very competitive compensation and benefit package. An annual incentive payout is also available, as qualified.
