1913 Israel and Norm found I.B. Abel & Son to sell electrical appliances and provide electrical wiring.
1923 I.B. Abel & Son signs on with IBEW Local #229.
After Norm passed away suddenly in 1950, Kent Bushey, Norm’s brother-in-law, assumed the role of company president.
1958 Kent Bushey buys out Ethel Abel leaving him as the company’s sole owner.
1961 I.B. Abel wires new dormitory at York College.
