Service Advisors fulfill a critical role in our operations. They are responsible for building strong customer relationships by consulting with customers regarding their service needs. Together with the technicians, a Service Advisor ascertains the cause of the issue(s) that prompted a given customer's visit, works to address and resolve those issues. Service Advisor Responsibilities:
Assist customers at the service counter as well as by phone and taking care of their needs using our Elite Support processes and standards. All aspects of transaction, from taking appointment to completing invoice and collecting from customer.
Assist fellow service office employees with managing schedule and workload.
Manage technician time and monitor repair progress for maximum efficiency.
Work with parts department by gathering information to complete repair estimates before updating customer for approval.
Work with outside vendors for sublet work needed on customer units.
Assist with warranty claims at branch level and work with warranty department to ensure maximum warranty recovery with vendors.
Service Advisor Requirements:
Basic computer skills and knowledge
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and time management skills
Strong problem solver with the ability to think outside of the box.
3 Years of Truck or Automotive Service Writing Experience Required

Role Summary:

Key Duties:

Overview
Our Service Department has an excellent opportunity for an entry level Service Advisor to join our TEC team. The Service Advisor acts as a liaison between customers and our shop, utilizing skill in documentation and communication to manage work orders and facilitate the proper and timely repair of customer's equipment. Responsibilities
Compete inspections of customer equipment, document information, and use inspection sheet to document thorough information about the vehicle's service needs.
Understand the work that needs to be done to the vehicle and address specific customer concerns.
Communicate with customer throughout the repair and payment process to create an overall positive experience for our customer.
Use the dealer management system to open and manage work orders and ensure efficient work flow and completion of work orders.
Answer phones and greet customers with professional and welcoming tone. Provide top notch customer service to all customers (by phone, in person, email, etc).
Keep track of status of all trucks in the shop and provide customers with updates according to their preferred method of communication.
Qualifications
Strong customer service skills and the ability to have compassion for our customers and work well with a wide range of personalities and emotional states.
Excellent communication skills - oral and written (frequent and detailed documentation is required in this position).
Mechanical inclination and attention to detail, proficiency with data entry and computer skills.
Commitment to complete Service Advisor training.

* Contact customers for pick up or delivery.
* Ensure that a secured payments are made prior to releasing serviced vehicles.
* Update Uptime Pro (Freightliner Elite Support Locations).

Position Description
This full-time position offers flexible hours throughout the week, as our operations runs 7 days a week. This is an opportunity to have a vital role in our operation. Duties include but are not limited to overseeing dispatch functions for multiple business units and multiple vehicle types, acting as a liaison between sales, customers, and drivers, working with drivers to confirm routing and times. Additionally, this role is responsible for processing changes/updates to trips, complying with Federal and State DOT requirements, organizing paperwork and filing, and utilizing dispatch systems for operational purposes.

Qualifications
