Job Summary
The Sports Instructor is a hands-on role that will lead athletes and provides expert instruction in their designated sport. The Sports Instructor is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the field.

Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for Chemistry adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our other off-campus centers. Initial assignment may be at one of our teaching locations, but the official work station assignment may change each semester. The successful applicant will become certified and fully use the course management system (eLearn) for all classes. The applicant will also attend required meetings, report attendance, early alert notifications, and final grades prior to the established deadline, and will communicate curriculum and personnel needs or changes as appropriate to their assigned coordinator/dean. This position reports to the Chair of Natural Sciences and the Dean of Arts Sciences, & Technologies
Requirements of the Position
Duties and Responsibilities: Teach assigned courses for discipline in Covington, Dyersburg, and/or Paris; prepare course materials; evaluate student learning, maintain class records, and submit required reports on time.
Working Conditions: Sedentary: Desk work; occasional travel may be required for college or program activities. Insignificant effort other than normal movement. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office settings. At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.
Required Qualifications: Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in Chemistry.
Ability to communicate effectively with students and other college personnel required.

Job Summary
