Job Summary
The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.

Amazing Athletes is the premier, sports-based enrichment program in the country looking to grow its franchise in North Oakland County, Michigan. Originating in California, Amazing Athletes has grown to be a sister company of Super Soccer Stars, offering coaches flexible schedules, a pathway for growth and development and a chance to work with and inspire youth. Our coaches will begin with training in the Amazing Athletes methods, executing demonstrations in various childcare centers in the territory, starting new classes, enrolling students and looking to consistently grow classes.
We are looking to add qualified, experienced, early-childhood teachers and coaches to join our program and be the face of the company! Amazing Athletes coaches are passionate about developing an athlete's confidence, and conveying the importance of teamwork while inspiring active play and fitness. As a Pre-School Sports Coach you will be required to travel to different schools and day care centers in areas such as, Clarkston, Lake Orion, Waterford, White Lake, Auburn Hills, Rochester Hills, Hartland, and Fenton to teach the basic fundamentals of 10 different sports to children ranging from 18 months to 12 years old.
* Please note the potential class/work schedule. Commitment to both shifts preferred *
- Monday - Friday (9 am - 12 pm) and (1 - 4:30 pm)
- Some evening times are available, as well (4 pm -7 pm).
Regular Responsibilities and Duties Include:
Always arrive early and prepared in advance to teach the class (includes commuting time.)
Teach an energetic and motivating class, connect and challenge each child and helping them to accomplish motor development goals and inspire a love of movement and healthy habits.
Build strong and positive relationships with parents, teachers, directors, and children on a daily basis.
Communicate with parents of the children in the program.
Teach and conduct classes in an organized, structured, and fun manner.
Make sure you are outgoing and engaging every child, in every class.
Understand responsibilities while the children are under your supervision.
Pay Scale:
$10 per class to shadow/train
$15 per class to teach with supervision
$20 - $30 per class teaching on your own
** Bonuses for growth of your classes
Requirements
** Must be available on two or more of the following days/times Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday AM classes (9 30 -11 30 am).
Must be energetic, dynamic, passionate, caring and most importantly, AMAZING!
Must be willing to travel to local schools within North Oakland County in MI.
Must be at least 20 years of age.
Must submit to fingerprinting and pass Michigan comprehensive background check.
Must have CPR/First Aid Certification.
Experience working with Pre-School Age Children (preschool teachers, camp counselor, elementary education substitute teacher, coach, etc.)
Passion for sports/fitness.
Background in fitness (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, etc.).
Must be a great communicator who is reliable and punctual.
Must be a detailed oriented person who knows how to use Google Drive, Google Calendar, and other Smart Phone Apps.
Sales background - you may have to talk to potential parents, teachers, or others and will need to be able to give a 30 second elevator pitch to explain what our program is and the benefits.
Must have a valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation to get to and from class locations.
Classes are held at different child care centers/schools throughout the territory and recur on a weekly basis.
Able to provide a long-term commitment to developing within this growing company.
Available to start and train for a few hours each week, immediately..
Must be able to carry 50 lbs

Job Summary
The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.
Responsibilities
Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills
Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
