    The I/C Tech Team Member at Palo Verde calibrates, tests, troubleshoots, reworks, modifies, and inspects nuclear plant instrumentation and control components and systems, under general supervision or continual direction in support of commercial grade dedication.

    Minimum Requirements

    Must be certified to ANSI/ANS 3.1, 4.5.2, (1978). Requires 3 years of working experience in the Instrumentation and Control Field, one of which should be related technical training, or successful completion of the PVNGS I+C Apprentice Program. Exposure to industrial work environments, shift work, and overtime, as required. High school diploma or equivalent. EEI MASS Test Administered.

    Nuclear requirement: Any PVGS employee may be called upon to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO) and will be expected to fulfill their obligation as an ERO member. This is a condition of employment at PVNGS. Roles and Responsibilities defined in Policy 1503 and implementing policy guide are applicable to all PVGS employees.

    Any PVGS employee may be called upon to support a refueling or short-notice outage. This includes line roles and responsibilities as necessary to execute outage activities.

    Major Accountabilities

    1) Calibrates, function tests, troubleshoots, rework, modifies, and inspects plant equipment in accordance with technical specifications station administrative control procedures and quality requirements.

    2) Attendance in and completion of scheduled technical training. Ability to utilize knowledge gained to meet Safety, Quality and Excellence expectations of PVNGS.
