Carr has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a member of the Georgia Technology Institute Advisory Board for the Executive Master's in International Logistics advanced degree program. Carr also is on the Advisory Board of Directors and Past Chairman of the Board for Kidz2Leaders, a nonprofit organization that helps change the lives of prisoners' children and break the cycle of incarceration.
