Successful Makers-in-Residence will harvest and maintain 3D printers, provide 1-on-1 consultations for students learning to use 3D printers, demonstrate creative uses of the technology, and act as ambassadors for the use of innovative new maker technologies in education. Makers-in-Residence should be available to work 8 - 12 hours per week, maintain order and cleanliness in the printing room, reinforce Maker Commons policies and procedures, and have a strong interest in Maker Technologies.
