Responsible for scheduling and coordinating swim meets. Job Tasks/Duties Schedules and attends practice sessions for the swim team. Organizes all aspects of swim meets including scheduling individual race participants, recording and posting start times and distributing race ribbons. Schedules and leads all in the club's coaches' meetings. Summer: Scioto Participates in the PCCAL Private Country Club Athletic League Winter: The team participates in Ohio Local Swim Championships Maintains presence during swim team events. Maintains swim team and event equipment. Organizes swim meet volunteers. Works closely with Dive Coach Delegates task to ensure the successful operation of the program Performs other tasks as required by General Manager. Licenses and Special Requirements USA Swimming coach in good standing. American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) Level 2 or above certification. American Red Cross Basic First Aid required, training on AED units and possession of a current Red Cross CPR card. Physical Demands and Work Environment Working conditions are often, hot, humid, slippery and wet. Able to tolerate the smell of chlorine. Ability to project voice and articulate instructions to swimmers. Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment, which is typical of this position. Experience as a competitive swimmer on the High School and College levels. Experience as an Assistant Swim or Head Swim Coach.

Manage and execute administrative and athletic functions of coaching a collegiate club team. Establishes and maintains team rules and expectations. Coaches, trains, and develops individual players and their skills. Recruits prospective student-athletics, coordinates visits, and plans travel itineraries for the team. Reviews recorded video and creates scouting reports. Manages and creates content to promote the team and the University and engages with alumni. 1. Assists Head Coach with practice and game planning. Develops training sessions for Denison athletes and provides athletes with feedback and direction. Develops strategy for future opponents and analyzes film and creates scouting reports. 2. Recruits prospective student-athletes, communicates via email, phone, and in-person at recruiting events. 3. Arranges travel plans and itineraries for the team including making hotel reservations, meals, equipment, and practice schedule. 4. Updates and maintains social media content. Posts stories and videos to ensure a strong interactive presence for the sport. 5. Monitors student-athletes' academic progress. 6. Reinforces team and University rules and expectations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required CPR/AED certification required Collegiate playing experience preferred This role is limited to no more than 300 hours during the 2025-2026 academic year. The starting rate for this positions is $15 per hour.

Continued success and growth forces us to seek additional Cheerleading Coaches to assist or head up our teams across the country this season. Candidates must be team players and willing to coach all levels of teams and classes. We offer very competitive pay, and a great place to work. The ideal candidate must be have cheerleading experience and be willing to dedicate 1 to 2 evenings for practices and some weekends for travel to various competitions. Classes may be scattered throughout the evening, but most coaches will work no more than 3-4 classes in a day. Must be able to pass background check. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize various projects and deadlines. Experience with teaching children is a plus! Teaching responsibilities include class preparations, teaching students, overseeing class check-ins, and basic record-keeping.
