ICG company history timeline
A pivotal moment came in 2010 as ICG refocused its corporate strategy onto developing its third party funds business and appointed Christophe Evain as CEO. ICG also purchased 51% of Longbow Real Estate – a UK-based real estate financing operation.
ICG launched its direct lending strategy in 2012, filling the gap left when bank lending dried up following the global financial crisis.
ICG signed three and a half year partnership with BUCS to sponsor women's hockey at universities across the UK. Fundraising for the year to 30 March 2019 totalled €10.1bn.
In 2020 ICG joined the FTSE 100, launched an inaugural €500m Eurobond, moved to a new London headquarters and opened an office in Milan.
