The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical support services within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QA program tailored to DoD help desk operations.
Develop and maintain QA policies, procedures, and performance metrics aligned with DoD requirements and ITIL best practices.
Ensure compliance with DoD security policies, including NIST, DFARS, and CMMC frameworks.
Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of help desk interactions, ensuring accurate documentation and effective resolution of issues.
Conduct regular quality assessments of support tickets, calls, and user feedback.
Analyze performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and corrective actions.
Prepare and present regular quality reports to senior leadership and DoD stakeholders.
Develop and deliver training programs to help desk staff focusing on service quality, security protocols, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with management and technical teams to implement process improvements and corrective actions based on QA findings.
Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues and ensures corrective actions are tracked and implemented.

Areté is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to work in our new Falls Church, VA facility. The candidate will report directly to the regional IT Manager and provide support for the day-to-day administrative operations of the IT department. AGE Solutions is seeking a Mid-Level Network Engineer to play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining a resilient and secure network backbone across cloud and on-premises infrastructure in support of Department of Defense (DoD) operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of hybrid networking architectures, cybersecurity best practices, and the unique operational constraints of classified environments. You will be part of a high-power team proving out a prototype for production at full scale. This position requires a deep understanding of V2 principles, DoD systems, and security protocols, as well as the ability to lead and implement complex integration initiatives.
Responsibilities Include:
Design robust and scalable hybrid network architectures integrating cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) and on-premises systems
Define routing, segmentation, and transport solutions aligned with DoD cybersecurity policies and Zero Trust principles
Recommend and implement network optimizations to ensure high availability, redundancy, and performance
Deploy networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN concentrators, etc.) and virtual network appliances across classified and unclassified environments
Support infrastructure-as-code for cloud networking deployments using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
Integrate and troubleshoot secure communications over classified networks (e.g., SIPRNet, JWICS)
Work closely with cybersecurity, cloud, and DevSecOps teams to ensure secure network integration and compliance
Provide Tier II/III support for network issues, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders as needed
Participate in system accreditation and cybersecurity assessments including CCRIs and RMF evaluations

Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams, IP plans, and configuration baselines

PROJECT OVERVIEW: We are seeking a Systems Engineer with strong knowledge and working experience in varying enterprise network topologies, computer information systems, designing, deploying, installing, and upgrading local and globally distributed systems and associated equipment.
The Systems Engineer will work closely with software engineers, developers and customers to design, integrate and maintain unique systems and technical solutions. The work will be homed from our corporate office, with occasional travel to other offices within the Washington Metropolitan Area as needed to gather requirements, participate in technical exchange meetings, conduct system architecture reviews, demonstrations and other system life cycle activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure within designated project spaces
Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
Promote the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability through best practices and proven industry standards
Mentor and train other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improve processes companywide
Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently
Document standard operating procedures, system design diagrams, user guides and applicable system security artifacts
Help develop clear goals for all areas of a project and develop steps to oversee their timely execution
Be proactive about challenges or constraints within a project and seek to manage them accordingly

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience installing, maintaining, and documenting hardware solutions and computer information systems
