ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: Selects appropriately sized boxes or envelopes for shipment to avoid the bending, crushing, or shifting of items during delivery. Packs all orders neatly and correctly in a box to ensure quality. This involves packing glass items appropriately in bubble wrap, placing small items in a bag, and placing all liquids in a bag, and packing the standing upright. Follows proper packing procedures. May verify product during the packing process. May maintain daily individual production records, which are reviewed by the supervisor, by writing down the time particular tasks are performed. Reports any error in product selection or quality to appropriate team member or area and/or corrects the order as necessary before shipment. Sends along conveyor system to the appropriate location for packing material to be added and the boxes to be sealed, then places packed customer orders on conveyor system to takes to appropriate location for shipment. Special orders are processed using the special order process. Disposes of empty boxes and packaging appropriately to maintain safe and clean working conditions. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required. The Inspector at Cook Winston-Salem is responsible to inspect products according to regulated procedures. Responsibilities * Inspect products and or components per detailed specifications and/or drawings for quality, which includes, but is not limited to the following: - Visually, dimensionally and functionally inspect product - Determine whether the product is acceptable using prescribed standards - Complete all necessary documentation• Assist in training new employees in the department• Perform daily and weekly cleaning• Perform other duties as assigned• Ability to read, write, and understand product specifications, drawings, work orders, labels and quality forms written in English• Ability to use a variety of testing equipment including small measuring devices * Maintain regular and punctual attendance• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED • Minimum 18 years of age Physical Requirements: * Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations• Majority of work is conducted in a "controlled" environment• Visual Acuity to work with small parts * Majority of day is spent sitting and walking within various departments• Ability to occasionally lift up to 10lbs 90% of day; remaining 10% able to co-carry up to 35lbs• Ability to perform fine manipulation with hands e.g. grasping, pinching pulling

Responsible for visually inspecting filled product off the filling line following Standard Operating Procedures Dept. and on the off-line inspection area and therefore must be knowledgeable of procedures and (SOP) and current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP). The production inspector will work in the Capping equipment in each area Pay Range: $19.91 - $21.66 Responsibilities The Specialist performs some or all of the following accountabilities as assigned: * Visually inspects products for various defects. * Documents work accurately and timely. * Complies with current SOP's and cGMP's. * Sets-up, adjusts, and operates equipment such as inspection machines, cappers, etc. * Performs and documents critical start-up procedures for filling operation such as filter integrity test, line clearance, component verification, etc * Performs and documents quality checks on product. * Calculates percent defective on inspection results and reconciles components on batch record. * Loads and unloads vials from turntables. Stacks, wraps and moves pallets of product. Performs other duties as assigned.
