The Device SalesSpecialist is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers that lead to future business opportunities. The position increases profitability and expands existing accounts by selling ICU Medical products and extending relationships into new areas with new accounts. As part of a regional device and technology team, Device SalesSpecialists are responsible for identifying and closing opportunities for ICU infusion devices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Meet territory sales quota for ICU IV Infusion Device product line: Plum 360, LifeCare PCA and complimentary dedicated pump infusion sets along with MedNet safety software and IV EMR connectivity.
Master presentation skills and command of technical knowledge of the ICU family of products and how they relate to guidelines (FDA, CDC, SHEA, INS, ONS, ASHP, etc.) in order to communicate professionally with Hospital Clinicians. Conduct executive level presentations on clinical concepts, current ICU products, and future product pipeline.
Know the strengths and weaknesses of competing products in the market and how to position ICU Medical's offerings against them clinically. Be the clinical expert / consultative problem solver at the field level for clinical and supply chain contacts.
Maintain a high level of technical and commercial competence on relevant products, technologies, and services. Quickly demonstrate expertise and establish credibility with clinical and executive decision makers
Know the assigned territory and customer base, contracts, pumps, solutions, distribution models, etc.
Be able to conduct product trials and implementation of all ICU products
Know your market and the clinicians in the market through local AVA, INS, APIC, and ONS chapters
Develop strategic customer relationships throughout the hospital to drive the purchase of ICU's infusion devices
Communicate with managers and align sales efforts with Company and regional targets
Develop and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Negotiate contracts with hospital supply chain and administrative organizations
Understand market dynamics and healthcare trends
Work on special projects as they arise
Work occasionally during weekends/nights, when necessary

Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience
Must be at least 18 years of age
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required
MBA or MHA a plus
Minimum 5 years of medical sales experience, selling capital equipment, medical devices, or software in a hospital environment.
Proven track record of making quota/growth in territory, development of existing customer relationships with Supply Chain. A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and a desire to grow new business
Experience working in a team environment
Position requires active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination, to perform the essential function of your role at customer locations.

Position Summary
The Clinical SalesSpecialist (CSS) augments the sales process by partnering with sales representatives and the current or intended customer to drive the clinical aspects of product evaluations, implementations, and post-implementation training needs in order to advance and/or maintain stages within the sales cycle. The Field SalesSpecialist is responsible for expanding existing top accounts through equipment & service rental sales. Drive pipeline growth of opportunities in equipment and rental service orders. The SalesSpecialist is responsible for developing and executing successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in territory.
This position reports to the Senior Regional Sales Manager ad is part of the Digital Pathology team located in the U.S. and will be working remotely to cover Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team within their territory.
Maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed.
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance and coordinate product demo, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor.
Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies.
Develop on products, DBS, LBS Tools (such as Power BI, Showpad, Territory Business Reviews).
The essential requirements of the job include:
Minimum 3+ years relevant sales (or equivalent experience)
Proven time management skills
Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience, or selling in a matrixed environment
Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software
Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel - 50-75%, mostly in territory
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 15 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, stand, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, bend, talk and hear.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
This position will require travel by car and flying in and out of airports with possible long wait times.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Excellent customer relations/service skills, goal oriented, results driven
Develop excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

The annual salary range for this role is $118,000 - $133,000
.
This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

You'll work closely with experienced Sales Representatives and Managers to build your knowledge, skill and comfort with clinical and product knowledge as well as selling styles and techniques. They will serve as your coaches and mentors to share lessons learned for how to build and grow a successful business.
You'll receive training and be expected to study and prepare independently to perform at the highest levels in the operating room, working amongst surgeons and healthcare professionals. The expectations are challenging, yet rewarding.
You'll represent Stryker as a leader in our industry and the marketplace.
You'll have the opportunity to identify and promote solutions and sell products that change our patient's lives.
You'll collaborate with our team to build your own business one customer and account at a time. You'll identify and prospect new customers as well as continually take care of existing customers.

**What you will do:**
As a Neurosurgical Associate Sales Representative, you will assist in strategically promoting and selling Stryker Neurosurgical products to meet our customers' needs. You confidently conduct product evaluations in OR and office settings, persuasively demonstrating the value of our products. Systematically tracking your territory progress, you proactively communicate your wins with your Sales Representatives and push yourself to exceed each goal. When onsite with clients, you use your product knowledge and quick thinking to solve product problems and inform doctors, nurses and other staff as to the proper use and maintenance of our products. You take great pride in excellent service and are prepared to assist a customer whenever the need arises. As an Associate Representative, you love living in the fast lane and find purpose in selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better.
**What you need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited university
+ 1-2 years in medical sales or b2b is preferred
**Travel requirement:**
+ Approximately 20% travel. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive an automobile.
**Physical requirements:**
+ Medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
+ Coordination of the eye, hand and foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination / memory, reading ability and memory retention
