A large non profit Seattle Metropolitan Area Medical Center is actively seeking a RN Critical Care Staff Nurse to join their renown healthcare organization.

The Critical Care Staff Nurse will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality-nursing care in a patient and family centered care environment according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the Medical Center.

Reporting to the Critical Care Nurse Manager, the ICU Nurse will assist in the overall management and leadership of the Neuroscience unit or groups of patient care units within Nursing Services. The Neuroscience Epilepsy Staff Nurse will be responsible for all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with the Medical Center mission, vision, and value.

The Registered Nurse ICU will assess, plan, evaluate and document the nursing process in the Critical Care Unit as needed. The ICU Staff Nurse will ensure patient support through infection control processes, sterility assurance, and product and instrument availability.

This 400 bed facility is known for their high level of patient care, and numerous outstanding service lines including: Heart & Vascular Center, Tertiary Retinal Surgery, Pancreatico Biliary Program, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Family Birth Center and Comprehensive Orthopedic Center. The Medical Center is extremely busy and annually sees 45,000 emergency room visits, 4,500 newborn deliveries and over 8,000 surgical procedures.

The ICU Nurse will have to live in one of the national most Iconic Areas, the Pacific Northwest.
