Job Description
The Idaho State University Nuclear Engineering Department is pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The Department is seeking candidates with capabilities and experience in various Nuclear Engineering fields. Candidates with nuclear oriented digital twin, machine learning, or artificial intelligence are especially sought.
The Idaho State University Nuclear Engineering Department offers Nuclear Engineering degrees at the bachelors, masters and Ph.D. levels. Most departmental lecture courses are simultaneously available on the Pocatello and Idaho Falls campuses, and also are available online via the University's online learning management system (LMS). Many courses are provided in the early evening to accommodate Idaho National Laboratory employees.

Key Responsibilities
The Nuclear Engineering Department faculty conduct research in a variety of areas including: reactor physics, thermal hydraulics, nuclear fuels and materials, scientific computing, and nuclear safety. The Department benefits from connections to Idaho National Laboratory as well as many other laboratories with the Department of Energy. On-campus education and research facilities include the ISU AGN-201 nuclear reactor and a subcritical facility.
Successful candidates will be expected to teach courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, develop externally funded research, and contribute to the operation and promotion of the Department, the University and the profession.
Minimum Qualifications
* Applicants must have an earned doctorate in nuclear engineering or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience and teaching in nuclear engineering is especially sought.
* Postdoctoral experience and pre-existing ties to or potential joint appointments with federal or state entities will be positively considered.

Job Description
The ISU-Meridian Treasure Valley Anatomy and Physiology Laboratories (TVAPL) Lab Education and Outreach Coordinator collaborates with the lab staff and faculty to plan, schedule, coordinate, and deliver high-quality, lab-based educational programming for multiple internal and external user groups. The Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and on-boarding lab volunteers and student technicians, participating in professional human anatomical dissections, and upholding respectful donor care, privacy, and confidentiality. The Coordinator also supports outreach initiatives, engages with stakeholders, assists with lab user billing, seeks grant and funding opportunities; and performs additional duties as needed to support the growing and evolving needs of the anatomy labs.

Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with anatomy lab staff and faculty to schedule, deliver, and support high-quality lab-based educational programming for multiple internal and external audiences.

Minimum Qualifications
* Master's degree, or bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, in teaching or educational programming in human anatomy, clinical health sciences, or health professions education field.

* Comfortable working with human anatomical body donors.
* Sound written communication skills.
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards.
Preferred Qualifications
* Doctoral degree or advanced work in teaching or educational programming in human anatomy, clinical health sciences, or health professions education field.

The Director of Student Leadership and Engagement is responsible for all aspects of leadership and management of the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement within Idaho State University (ISU). Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development and External Relations, the Assistant AD for Annual Giving and Events has a visible role in the ISU Athletic Department and University Advancement and is expected to meet annual fundraising goals for Bengal Athletics. The position will manage assigned donor relationships, expand the annual giving pipeline through the identification of new donors and new Bengal Athletic Boosters (B.A.B.), execute special events, manage volunteers, staff the B.A.B. Board of Directors, while also coordinating priority parking and game day tailgate experience.

Key Responsibilities
1. Donor Retention: Implement programs and activities that encourage existing BAB members and sports club donors to continue their involvement with ISU Athletics.
2. Donor Growth: Implement programs and activities that attract new B.A.B. members, season ticket holders, and sports club donors.
3. Athletics Fundraising Events: Coordinate all Athletics fundraising events.
4. Donor Hospitality and Priority Parking: Coordinate game day hospitality for Bengal Football and Basketball as well as parking for B.A.B. members.
5. Board Management: Actively recruit, oversee, and steward B.A.B. board members. Plan and conduct all meetings, keep permanent records of all meetings and transactions.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead the development, implementation, and execution of strategies, policies, goals, and objectives related to annual fundraising for Bengal Athletics. Grow BAB membership annually.
2. Work closely with the Sr. Associate Athletic Director for Development and External Relations to coordinate a robust membership calendar for B.A.B. renewals, stewardship, and communications.
3. Work as part of University Advancement and ISU Athletics to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward annual fund donors and major gift prospects. Build relationships and educate donors and other constituents of ISU Athletics on current fundraising initiatives and priorities.
4. Meet agreed upon metrics for annual fund revenue, B.A.B. Members, and assigned priorities. Oversee BAB budget and ensure accounting meets the standards of Institutional Advancement.
5. Collaborate closely with the Ticket Manager. Build out strategies for ticket renewals and acquisition of new season ticket holders.
6. Assist in directing communications and growing membership for all individual sport giving clubs including solicitations, stewardship, and multi-year commitments. Execute and grow the Prepare To Roar annual giving campaign.
7. Assist in the supervision of donor parking priority and donor ticket priority.
8. Lead donor-centric events, including but not limited to: the B.A.B. Annual Fund Drive, Bengal Auction; Orange & Black Classic/Fall Kickoff; Scarecrow Auction; Punt, Pass, Kick and Snap; Split the Pawt; Football Road Show; and other regional or sport-specific events. Execute game day fundraising activities including pre- and post-game events for Bengal Football and Basketball.
9. Collaborate and partner with Institutional Advancement. Keep accurate and complete records of moves management process and follow ISU strategies for cultivating, soliciting and acting as a steward of major gifts. Record all meaningful actions and relationships in Raiser's Edge.
10. Serve as the primary point of contact for data needs of the Athletics Department by utilizing current technologies (Paciolan, FanBase, Raiser's Edge, and other platforms managing external partnerships).
11. Stay current on NCAA legislation and operate within a culture of compliance. Attend required rules education, and work to educate donor base on applicable NCAA regulations. Comply with all NCAA, Big Sky Conference, and Idaho State University policies.
12. Undertake other duties as assigned by the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development and External Relations.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree.
* At least two (2) years of experience in fundraising and/or engagement within intercollegiate athletics OR in institutional fundraising and/or engagement.
* Willingness and ability to travel for business purposes, approximately 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's Degree.
* Knowledge of computerized fundraising and ticketing systems.
* Familiarity with annual giving and donor engagement in a college athletics landscape.
* Public relations and promotion skills.
* Knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations.
* Understanding of Title IX as they relate to Intercollegiate Athletics.

Idaho State University's Department of Mechanical and Measurement & Control Engineering (MMCE) invites applications to join our dynamic and growing team. The position is for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Energy and Power Systems starting August 2026.
As an Assistant Professor in MMCE, the expectations for the successful applicant are to participate in developing and teaching both undergraduate and graduate mechanical engineering courses, as well as in the core undergraduate curriculum, to build a collaborative, externally funded research program and to perform professional service. Consideration will be given to applicants with broad research interests in Energy systems which may include but are not limited to energy generation, energy storage, energy efficiency of power systems and renewable energy. To aid in these endeavors, the candidate is expected to participate synergistically with MMCE faculty in the activities of the Engineering Research Center (ERC), other research activities in the College of Science and Engineering (CoSE), across campus, and with external collaborators such as researchers at the nearby Idaho National Laboratory (INL).

Idaho State University's College of Science and Engineering invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Research Associate position, funded by the NSF EPSCoR program Idaho Community-Engaged Resilience for Energy-Water Systems (I-CREWS). This program facilitates community-engaged research with Tribal Nations and other Idaho communities to evaluate, model, and develop future scenarios for energy-water systems under environmental, technological, and social change.
The postdoctoral researcher will focus on modeling and simulation of energy-water systems such as groundwater, geothermal power, and other water-energy-ecological systems. The work will integrate hydrologic and ecological processes with energy-water infrastructure modeling, with opportunities to expand into related domains such as surface hydrology, GIS-based spatial modeling, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced data science.
The successful candidate will engage in cross-disciplinary research with faculty from Biological Science, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, and Geosciences, and will play a pivotal role in collaborative efforts with the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes as part of I-CREWS' commitment to community-driven research.
I-CREWS is a statewide research program focused on advancing resilience in energy-water systems through collaboration with Idaho's Tribal Nations and communities. This position will be embedded in that network, providing opportunities for collaboration with ISU's GIS Training and Research Center, the Center for Ecological Research and Education, and statewide research partners at Boise State University, the University of Idaho, and Idaho National Laboratory.

Job Description
This full time position is responsible for providing direct and indirect professional, confidential assessment, diagnostic, and clinical mental health, including individual and group counseling, and crisis intervention services to community-based clients. Direct services include treatment for the full range of mental health issues. Treatment modalities include individual and group counseling.
This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide direct clinical services to clients through crisis intervention, safety assessments, and coordination of emergency interventions and resources.
● Collaborate and consult with behavioral/mental health, psychiatric and medical providers, and other Health Service providers and community to best manage clinical caseload and ensure effective treatment.
● Documentation of clinical services.
● Provide crisis intervention and triage coverage/consultation to members of the community, including on call as needed.
● Manage CARE reports.
● Maintain electronic medical and other records, including registries for high-risk clients/patients.
● Collaborates in efforts to provide services in new and creative ways.
● Marketing counseling services (individual, group, couple, and family clinical rehabilitation).
● Facilitate community partnerships.
● Oversee the collection of revenue generated from counseling services.
● Establish clientele and generate revenue to assist with a self-sustaining clinic.
● Supervise counseling interns.
● Perform other related duties as assigned.
● Experience working with groups of individuals.
● Knowledge, awareness, skills, and experience related to providing individual, multi-person, and group counseling; multicultural competence/humility, empathy, advanced listening skills, problem-solving, wide repertoire of intervention strategies, knowledge of ethical principles, mastery of personal and interpersonal and interpersonal dynamics, assessment skills, strong diagnosis skills, thorough understanding of abnormal behavior/psychopathology, experience/knowledge working on a highly integrated clinical team.
● Proactive, flexible, open communication style, solution-focused, relationship-building skills.
● Maintain up-to-date skills related to high-risk populations and community resources in mental health, case management skills based on relevant knowledge and principles of case management.
Minimum Qualifications
At least a Master's degree in a direct clinical practice human services field, such as social work, psychology, marriage and family counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychosocial rehabilitation counseling, psychiatric nursing, or other closely related discipline is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
A license in one of the following areas: Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensure in another state; if licensed in another state must obtain an endorsement for an Idaho license within 90 days of hire; experience using evidence based treatment practices counseling juveniles and their families; willingness to work in a juvenile facility; requires incumbent be comfortable dealing with behavioral acting out that could include possible harassment, threats, and verbal abuse from juveniles in custody; CPR/AED certification.

Job Description
The Director of University Marketing will manage the overall strategy for effectively marketing and promoting Idaho State University. This role combines marketing, advertising, and project management skills to develop high-impact campaigns for the University. The director works closely with creative and technical professionals within the University to ensure proper prioritization and execution of deliverables. The position also collaborates with the Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications to execute Idaho State's marketing campaigns to meet enrollment objectives.
The director of University Marketing is expected to demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage a workload with multiple priorities and competing time demands.
This position will also oversee the Strategic Marketing Team and regularly collaborate with college-level marketing professionals to develop a coordinated approach to all outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities
* Working with ISU's Agency of Record and University teams, develop the University's annual marketing strategies, supported by data-informed tactics, to achieve student recruitment goals (in partnership with the Office of Admissions), awareness objectives and engagement priorities.
* Manage advertising contracts for the Office of Marketing and Communications and university units, including managing ISU's Agency of Record contract.
* Assist divisions, colleges, and outreach centers with developing strategic marketing plans, coordinating advertising contracts, and assisting with ad placement.
* Evaluate and enhance ISU's SEO performance.
* Create marketing plans for special promotions and events.
* Coordinate the production of creative materials and collateral for advertisements, PSAs, and other special outreach efforts, all aligned with brand guidelines.
* Assist the Brand and Trademark Licensing Manager in developing campaigns and promotions to expand ISU's trademark licensing program.
* Provide leadership, oversight, and feedback to the Strategic Marketing Team.
* Coordinate training opportunities for the Strategic Marketing Team and the University community to advance professional development.
* Conduct research for continual improvement of marketing strategies, understanding of target markets, brand perception and overall effectiveness of marketing strategies and tactics.
* Create high-quality reports and presentations to communicate research findings; documents will be used as a resource for building strategic marketing plans throughout the university.
* Compile campaign performance analytics for reporting.
* Support special campaigns and initiatives, such as celebrating Idaho State University's 125th anniversary and university-level fundraising campaigns.
* Supervise the marketing team in the Office of Marketing and Communications and support University marketing professionals.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, public relations, advertising or a related field (In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, a minimum six years combined education, training, and experience may be considered)
* Five years of professional experience related to marketing or advertising
* Project management experience, with a focus on managing the development and execution of marketing plans
* Experience in conducting and reporting market research
* Experience placing ads through various media and channels
* Experience leading teams to achieve objectives, including serving in a supervisory role
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with higher education marketing campaigns
* Experience in collaboratively managing branded assets
* Master's degree in a related field
